The Taco Place - Mexican restaurant in Dolton - 15027 Woodlawn Ave, USA

I love elotes (street corn) and it was sooo goodt! I had to visit back 2 back. I had the original in the cup. This was the 1st time I enjoyed it in the cup bc they not only top it with all the goodies but its in the middle/bottom as well. I will definitely be returning for more! 10 out of 10...run don't walk.

The food is good. The fries are always old. They have a sign in-store about a 2 taco special and they honor it when they feel like it. Their always busy, order ahead of you can. For 6 tacos to feed three people, we spent $27.

I ordered jerk steak n shrimp n it was extremely hot. Like yea I like hot stuff but I love jerk as well n jerk shouldn’t b so hot where u unable to eat it. They should give ppl the option to choose how they want they jerk lite medium or hot or as they serve it Extremely hottt. I want to enjoy my food with a lil spice but not where I can’t eat it at all. So please don’t get jerk. It’s like the chip challenge hot

I I wanted to visit the establishment because I thought that they would have authentic Mexican tacos I am a connoisseur when it comes to Mexican food I was very disappointed I urged my husband to bring us here after church worship and are tacos I ordered taco dinner which came with three tacos rice and beans I ordered one ground beef taco and two steak tacos he ordered the steak burrito dinner the meat we cannot differentiate what was the ground beef and what was the steak the meat was hard both dinners were cold Meats we're very hard we paid $26 for our meal and we frequently check out different restaurants or eateries to review this one is a rating of one out of five please do better with frying your Meats thank you I will not be back unless you give us a refund or a different cook thank you so much

This place is a well-known hidden gem. Everything is delicious. It's hard to find a taco spot that offers shrimp as an option. They get really busy because people patronize their restaurant.

This would have been my third time trying this place the first two times was cool but this last time I want to say this place is nasty and they know they nasty today I order over $100 in food just for my sons chicken tacos to have long black strands of hair I’m soo happy I check the food before leaving and I only checked because I noticed they gave me the wrong drinks I give this place an zero I’ll never go back now they really need to inforce hair nets or somthing to cover the hair unless hair wax purposely put in my food

I’ve came here a good number of times and the food is always tasty. Today I ordered the super tostadas, the strawberry horchata, and the elotes. The horchata was really good and the food was good as well. I was just a little disappointed that I paid for the tostadas to have the super toppings and my tostadas only had the regular toppings, no sour cream, tomato, or avocado . As always I should’ve checked my food before leaving , but I still like the place and the food .

Customer service stinks . In my opinion if you put more into training the people that deal with the public it would increase business. Me myself once i get bad service i don't return.
