Everything was good until the entrees came out. Tasted like hospital food. I paid over $100 for 2 people and they served me 3 day old precooked chicken. The chicken at Chick-fil-A is better. My risotto was mush and overcooked. I eat at a different restaurant every week and this one was the worst so far. Guess my French onion soup was good. But that's the only thing positive I have to say.
Preston is an amazing cook who takes great pride in his work and it shows. Amazing restaurant, beautiful atmosphere. Great place to do client meetings or take a date.
Nice place. Tasty food. Friendly servers. Liked the ambiance. Found seafood only in starters and missing in entree. If you find it expensive side, every penny worth it.
Love The Sweet Spot. Unique dishes and cocktails along with comfort food faves. It’s never too loud for a conversation and they don’t care if you’re in shorts or dressed to the 9’s. Absolutely love this restaurant! I’ve taken many friends and family and we’ve always had a wonderful experience. I’d say this is one of the hidden gems on the West side of Wichita.
We’ve visited the Sweet Spot multiple times. Love the food and drinks. But this is the second time we’ve gone on a weekend and were there AN HOUR AND A HALF before we even got our food. It was ridiculous. It’s unfortunate, I really liked this place. Good food...but apparently you can only go on a slow Tuesday to get decent service. And we weren’t compensated (or offered) at all. Very unhappy.
Had reservation with 2 other couples (party of 6) at 7. We got seated just a few min after 7. Got our drinks at 7:38, got our appetizer at 7:51, finally ordered dinner at 8, got our food at 8:39 and finally left at 9:18. Gratuity was automatically on my bill ($125+). Not even close to being worth it. Will not go back for sure.
This was my first time eating here and didn’t know what to expect. The prices were a little off putting at first but I’m glad my sister and I stayed and tried their food. It was amazing! So good. The service was even better and made the whole experience wonderful! I will definitely be bringing my husband here for a night out as it is not the run of the mill chain that runs customers through like cattle. This restaurant is a great experience all around. I definitely recommend it.
