Nice but a mature motel. Great location with a restaurant right next door. Friendly staff with a clean room. Good bed as well as soft pillows. Quiet and not wild like many other motels in the area. Easy parking early in the day. Overall a good place to stay.|

We have been staying at Surf Suites for years. Love the location-very quiet but still close to everything. Condos are very comfortable (and the upgrades are so nice) and have everything you could want for your vacation stay. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. The condo and grounds are clean and very well maintained. We rented bikes for the week from South End (across the street) -very convenient. Can’t say enough good things about Surf Suites. We won’t stay anywhere else when we visit Wrightsville!

First time in Wrightsville Beach and this place was exactly what my husband and I were looking for. Oceanfront suite - exactly what you see in the photos. Great view from the balcony. Loved watched the surfers. We arrived June 29th 2024 and stayed until July 4th and this area wasn't busy at all. We left July 4th, so I'm not sure if the area was a little busier after that. Always plenty of parking spaces. We found some great places to eat within 15-30 minutes of the hotel. There is a little age in a few outside areas, but this is a great place to stay. The entire hotel is very clean; maid service every day. We stayed on the 4th floor and there were no problems at all with the elevator while we were there. We found the bed to be completely comfortable. I don't know if there were guests in the next room, but we heard absolutely nothing from the next rooms. We loved the area and would definitely stay at Surf Suites again!

Oh my gosh! This is the best hotel on Wrightsville beach! It has comfy chairs overlooking an ocean view, a clean room with a kitchenette with lots of amenities, a comfortable king-size bed, and an adequate size swimming pool with loungers. Less than a minute walk onto the sand to enjoy a beautiful beach. The staff is polite and asks if you need anything. The laundry facilities are clean and the cost is reasonable. I even like the hose and shower to rinse off the beach sand.

The view from any room is stunning. Opening the balcony doors with the breeze and smell of the ocean was amazing. The front help (Alexis) went above and beyond talking me through reservations to the night time clerk who offered up her phone card as I forgot mine. This was an escape trip for us. Our eyes were swollen from the resent passing of our dog. We will be back under better circumstances

More like Bed bug suites! Our trip got ruined! I have never experienced a bed bug in my life that we had to google what the little crawling things were in our bed. My poor sister spent the whole night in the balcony because she didn’t want to wake my toddler and I to tell us about the bugs (she didn’t know it was bed bugs) early morning she showed me and I went crazy. I started to look in our bed and of course I found one right away on the pillow and called the front desk which is horrible by the way from the check in to checkout (the girl was on her phone while checking us in)! The manager came and I showed him the video and pic my sis took and he said that’s not bed bug. I took him to the bedroom and showed him the one on the pillow and he said he will have to wait till the pest service guy comes to confirm it. I understand it’s his job to never admit but really?? He offered us to change the room but given that the linens are shared between every room we didn’t want to. They refunded what we paid but We had to drive to another beach 45 min because we couldn’t find hotels here last minute. If I had read a review that mentioned a bed bug I would have never stayed at this place.

We had just a night away. But we booked a King room. Nice and spacious. The bed was huge, everything was clean!!! Looked to be freshly renovated, nice marble counters in the kitchen, nice bathroom vanity. Just truly wonderful. And check in and checkout was a breeze and those little ladies were so nice! Not alot heard out of other rooms either!! Couldn't beat it for the money and being oceanfront with a balcony.

Have enjoyed staying there on many occasions over the years, however your rates at $350+ a night are beyond what we want to be paying off season mid October.
