I'm always excited to check out new menus especially when they're vegan and vegetarian friendly! But wait, vegetarian friendly isn't really vegetarian friendly if it's got animal dna, and y'all use whey protein instead of plant-based proteins, and that's extremely toxic for your health! But since I drove all that way I got a dragon fruit AKA pitaya bowl with strawberries blueberries and granola added. And I went ahead and tried one of your protein balls, I know God doesn't like his children to have animal DNA inside of their digestion but, I was starving and didn't have time to go to another place. Sorry but that's why you got three stars, vegetarianism is way healthier, the veganism is the best approach to life. Please put some vegan friendly options up for us

I love this place. Cute interior. The staff is always nice. The smoothies are always yummy. It's also nice to go to a place that is playing a good family friendly mix of music including Christian music. How refreshing! They have plenty of vegan options and vegan protein too.

Surf Bar, My wife and I get a craving every week for the Nu-Stella with Açaí, we love you guys! There is one major downside…Our cravings often hit us on Sunday and you aren’t open. SurfBar any chance you guys can open on Sundays too? Thank you, Concerned Citizen

I love this place. I order a smoothie here nearly every weekday. However, most days it takes soooo long for them to make my smoothie. Tropical smoothie (next door) is so much quicker so when I’m in a hurry I’ll go there instead. I hope they figure out a way to speed up their operations!

The employees don't know anything about their menu. After standing in front of the cash register for a while without being greeted, I tried to ask what their bases are made of and the only answer I could get was "fruits and vegetables and stuff." The worst part is the cashier didn't even offer to go ask or find the answer. Probably because he knew nobody else knew the answer either. If you have any kind of food allergy be sure to do your own research and triple check for yourself what all comes in there bowl bases. Don't trust the employees to know. At least the bowl I got wasn't terrible tasting.

I got a large Nutty Kiki bowl with the acai base and thought it was very tasty. It was topped with blueberries, strawberries, granola and almond butter. At first I was hesitant to get the large since it's 12.99 but I'd say it's worth it with how big the bowl is. I also wasn't sure if it would fill me up but it did fill me up without leaving me feeling like I just had a heavy meal. I won't be going often due to the price but I will be back!

I love their yummy fruit bowls. I always go through the drive-through, but whoever is at the window is always super friendly and helpful. They have multiple selections of different fruit bowls that start with your choice of 3 separate bases. I usually get the coconut base. Great, healthy, no meat choice for lunch.

Surf Bar has become one of go-to "sweet treats" in Norman that I end up craving every other week (okay, maybe every week!) They have a unique selection of smoothie bowls and topping, including some of the *best* granola and plenty of ripe, fresh fruit. The staff is always very nice and helpful as well, and the prices (though a little expensive) are fair for the quality of fresh bowls and smoothies you're getting. Best of all, you don't leave feeling disgusting or ready to crash from a "sugar high" - just with a happier tummy!
