A good place to eat. Though they serve burgers, they do not serve French fries, so choices are potato salad or coleslaw as a side. Friendly staff.
It has been a long time since we have had just an all around amazing dining experience. The breakfast was amazing and I know you may be thinking how but it was great. Great flavors, perfectly cooked, amazing everything. So glad we stopped in this morning for breakfast before heading back into mountains.

It's the only breakfast spot in town. The food is very plain. The hashbrowns are awful depending on how you like them. They do have a wide variety of homemade pies, but I have not had one.
One of the best breakfast places in the San Luis Valley! Rhoda makes some great food and AMAZING pies, cinnamon rolls, pecan rolls, and maple rolls. I get the Sunflour Special for breakfast. It isn’t fancy, but it’s YUMMY and it’s hearty so it’ll keep you going all morning long! Great coffee and they use local ingredients, including Haefeli Honey from Del Norte, CO. You’ll need to keep a close eye out for it....you might drive past if you’re not careful. About a mile out of town on 285 on your right side next to King Mountain Potatoes. Stop here for breakfast...you won’t be disappointed!
A from scratch restaurant. Generous portions and wonderful pies and cakes. You can buy whole or a slice. Served with whipped cream. They also sell frozen meals. Wonderful place tucked away in Monte Vista. Once you find it you will be back!
Bummed that I was late to get breakfast, but the chicken quesadilla and the brisket burger were delicious and filling. Would come here again.
Delicious food! They have a freezer full of prepared food you can take home and cook. They also have amazing food on order. Small place, so don’t go here if you are in a hurry. I got the breakfast burrito and loved it!

We drove by this place once because we thought it was a furniture shop. The front of the building is, but the restaurant is in the back and also has a drive through. Although it was a little hard to find, we enjoyed it and will stop in again!
Beautiful little park with the surrounding mountains as the backdrop. They have basketball goals, several covered picnic areas, a playground, and a 1/2 mile track around the perimeter of the central field. Oh, and free WiFi!!
