The Strand Bistro & Chophouse - Bistro in Jesup - 167 W Cherry St, USA

Went with a reservation for a large party and they sat us at multiple tables after assuring they can sit up to 40 people. We had 24 people. We definitely wanted to sit together to socialize! Then the food was terrible. I ordered salmon and the salmon was so over seasoned and salty I couldn't finish it, served w broccoli and rice and that had no seasoning. Not a speck of salt of pepper. Really a sliver or garlic butter would have turned that around. Multiple people ordered the salmon and they were all served the same. Our server was new and we definitely liked her but she explained that she just started Thursday with no training. It showed. Management should have done better with staffing and seating our reservation or should been honest about it from the beginning. Even after all that, I will still go back as a table of 2 and try the pizza which looked good and enjoy the atmosphere near the bar with a drink.

My sister and I popped in for a Sunday night bite! My meaty pizza did not disappoint and was just as tasty when warmed up the next day 😋 🙌🏾 👏🏾! My sister ordered the chopped steak and earned a clean-plate award! Lol. Thank you for not disappointing our appetites! See y'all next time! *The classic rock station was on point! 🎶 🎵

Had a great late lunch today... we had mozzarella sticks. The maranara sauce is yum, the side salad was good, and the star was the French dip sandwich. They never disappoint, and neither does the Hop Dang Diggity IPA on tap.

I go to the chophouse every Thursday and some weekends. The food, service and atmosphere is always great. I also love they bring in live music. Last night i ordered a “lunch item” (BBQ chicken flatbread) during dinner but I asked If I could modify it alittle. Needless to say The buffalo ranch chicken flatbread was too good not to leave a review!

I cannot say enough about this place! The atmosphere is incredible, the food 🤌🤌, the service friendly and helpful! Try to go during the daytime to meet Charley the bartender, she is relatively new to Jesup and she brings the charm and professionalism like nobody’s business! Just try it and let the place do the talking.

We were visiting family. Service, atmosphere, and food were great. However, some sort of management a female, came over to the pizza oven side of the restaurant where we were sitting and started verbally ranting No No No very loudly to staff behind the counter to get out on the floor. It is very unprofessional and was uncomfortable for those of us dining. Our server was great. It was approximately 6:30 ish on 12-16-2024. Do better management.

Great food, great service, great prices. Fried green beans are a must try! Can’t wait to come back. Kim Was our server and was phenomenal!

Had a great time with amazing food. I believe my waitress’s name was Kelsey. She kept my cup full and was attentive to me while I ate. Meat lover pizza. Definitely need to check this place out.
