While enjoying the unique shops in Eustis FL we walked into the 101 years old, The State Theater of Eustis. Volunteers were busy building sets for an upcoming run of performances. Nina, one of the head people greated us. She stopped her work and offered to give the 3 of us a tour. Wow! What a neat original, theater, amazing history. Now a non-profit with many volunteers doing the preparations work. We live up north but will return to see one or more of their highly acclaimed shows. Thank you, Nina.
What a great little historical theater. It is a true diamond found here in Eustis. My husband and I go every year to take our granddaughter towards their end of her school year. She loves it. We have been to many expensive productions and the one here can surely compete with them.
A lovely community theater that brings numerous shows every season. The young people’s program alone has 5 plays each year.
Well done and keep up the great work.
It used to be my favorite theater, but now when you arrive to see the play you are made to stand in line outside in the hot sun while the check you in one person at a time. We have been a long time season tickets holders.
This time we didn’t show up till 1:55 so we didn’t have to wait
What a gem the town of Eustace has in the historic State Theatre. Highly recommend that you support these aspiring professionals and volunteers. They are doing a wonderful job. We are definitely putting this on our to-do list whenever we are near the area. Do yourself a favor and go enjoy an evening play or a matinee on the weekends. Combine with a local restaurant and a stroll on the tree lined, lighted, historic downtown Mainstreet for a lovely date night.
Took my kids to see Matilda the Musical. The actors did such a fantastic job! It was so entertaining and fun!. The theater is small and things are outdated but I like it a bit because it gives the theater personality. It’s been standing there for over 100 yrs!! They offer snacks and drinks at the concession window, in exchange
For donation. The play was a bit long so I do recommend for kids over 9. Loved it enjoyed it and had a great time!
A very nice theater, its very old but clean in there. I saw "To Kill a Mockingbird" and I will warn all children, DO NOT bring anyone under the age of 13. They will not sit for this and there is very strong language, such as both n words being said 10+ times. Otherwise, the play was very good. The reason I gave 4 stars was not because of foul language, but the seats were extremely uncomfortable. My neck was hurting for 2 hours after the play ended.
It is a very beautiful theatre with a cozy ambience. The play was "The Great Christmas Cookie Bake Off". It was a joy to watch and I very much enjoyed the whole experience.
I went to another play here performed by a very talented group of young actors, The Bay Street Players, and was completely mesmerized by these young actors. The forum is beautiful, the ambience is peaceful, and the play Madagascar was hysterical, energetic, and beautifully done. You really should make this a must see item in your itenarary. LOVE IT!!!!!!

Nice Two parks for your dogs, smalls and big. Love there is a Wash area for them. And doggy pools. Your pawfriends can run and run while you sit under the shadow. Big parking space.
Excellent food and service. Everything was perfect. The Tom Ka soup was extremely well balanced, the Crab Rangoon was perfectly portioned and delicious, the Volcano Chicken was crispy and super flavorful, and the Pad Thai is more than what I would ho
Finding a good pizza can be hard to do but we go lucky here. The pizza was NY style pizza with a tasty sauce and gooey cheese. The crust was thin, yet light and airy without being chewy. I highly recommend this pizza and hope to return soon.
