Let's start with the positive. The staff is excellent; they were all very friendly, polite, and helpful. The food is also pretty good. And, if you traveling with young children it's a great place to stay. If you are traveling as an adult couple, think twice, and probably pass. ||This hotel is truly geared toward families with young kids. It's not a great place for couples. ||Even though they have 2 pools with 2 hot tubs, none are for adults only. All 4 were filled with young kids every day of our 5 day visit. They say one hot tub is for adults only but this rule is not enforced. ||I give the hotel 4 stars, not 5, even if you are traveling with kids. To me, The Ritz Carlton Bachelor Gulch in Avon Colorado is a 5 star hotel when traveling with young kids. The St Regis is nice, but it's not The Ritz.

Loved every second of our stay. The location cannot be beat. The friendly service and amenities will bring us back. From Garrett helping me when I arrived in the middle of the night, to Shree our yoga instructor and Adam at the front desk and Timmy our shuttle driver (which is included for all guests) and Marjorie for room service, Delilah our server at RIME…everyone was so warm and welcoming. Not pretentious at all. We truly wanted to stay one more night (or a week) if we could have. Would love to come back. Thank you for making our first trip to Park City one we’ll never forget.

We recently had the opportunity to stay at the St. Regis and while the property itself is undeniably stunning, our experience was marred by a level of service that fell well short of the luxury standard one expects at St. Regis hotels.||First, the positives: The hotel’s design and ambiance are exceptional. From the elegantly appointed rooms to the breathtaking views of the mountains/valley and meticulously maintained grounds. The food was consistently amazing- regardless of where we ate.||Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the staff. Despite the hotel's high-end reputation, and price tag (we paid $1100+ a night per room x5), the front desk staff (in particular B.D.) was consistently rude and inattentive. Upon arrival, we encountered a lack of warmth and professionalism at the front desk, which set the tone for the rest of our stay. Reasonable requests (for example to have extra water) were met with indifference, and there was a notable lack of effort to resolve issues or accommodate requests associated with traveling with family members that ranged in age from young children to 75+. The concierge seemed uninterested, was often not at the desk, and slow to respond. For a luxury establishment, such lapses in service are inexcusable. To try and smooth things over, they sent their hotel "ambassador' to talk to us- she informed us, before she said anything about the situation at hand, that this was her 'retirement job'- which is fine, except that she didn't offer anything to address the situation except platitudes. ||The restaurant service was consistently excellent and the waitstaff kind/efficient- which was very much appreciated! ||The St. Regis boasts a truly magnificent setting and beautiful accommodations, the poor attitude and lazy service of the staff significantly detract from the overall experience. We hope management takes note of these issues and addresses them.

St. Regis Deer Valley is the most disappointing hotel at which I've ever stayed. For an alleged "five star" hotel, the St. Regis lacks any semblance of quality. There were large brown stains on the carpet in my room. I ordered room service one night and was served raw chicken (even fast food places have figured out how to not poison their guests with unsafe food). We had room service rudely keep knocking on our door while we were trying to go to sleep on another night. None of this is acceptable for the rates St. Regis charges or for a place billing itself out as a "five star" establishment. The funicular is interesting the first time but quickly becomes tedious. If there is a way into the hotel without using this time sink, I never found it. The entry to the hotel is also incredibly hard to find, buried behind construction and connected to a different business. Once you get into the main hotel, you are met with a sprawling maze with no directions for how to find check-in (it's at the very back of the building, relative to the funicular). Just not a very guest-friendly experience. I don't get to travel often with my family, and I deeply regret staying at this hotel. I'll not stay here again and likely won't stay at any St. Regis location, if this is what they have to offer. The one star in my review is for the mountains around this hotel. That star is for nature's beauty, not St. Regis, which earned zero stars.

First and foremost, we feel incredibly fortunate to have enjoyed another winter stay at the exquisite St. Regis Deer Valley.||Our experience begins the moment we pass through the private Deer Crest community gates and ascend to the property. Nestled at an elevation of 7,452 feet, the resort looks majestic against the snow-covered backdrop, beautifully illuminated and inviting. ||Upon arrival, we immediately felt at home as the bell service greeted us by name and took care of everything. Within ten minutes, our luggage was in our room and our skis, boots, and poles were delivered to the ski valet. The seamless service and attention to detail made our return to this stunning property feel both welcoming and luxurious.||Location: ||The St. Regis Deer Valley is ideally situated halfway down from Little Baldy Peak, offering true ski-in/ski-out access to the mountain. It's also conveniently located just an 8–10-minute drive from Main Street Park City.||Room Experience:||During our recent stay at St. Regis Deer Valley, we were offered an upgrade upon check-in to a grand deluxe slopeside view which we happily accepted. We really enjoy the slopeside view, extra space, fireplace, and use of the balcony on the sunny afternoons. For some reason the room we were given had a restricted view of the mountain and no chairs to sit on outside. Although this was an upgrade, it was a bit disappointing and a downgrade from the prior year. After several requests for chairs we were told that there were no more balcony chairs to offer us, but we could be provided with banquet chairs instead. We ultimately declined these; however, Adam was exceptionally communicative and made every effort to address and resolve our concerns. We appreciated Adam and the staff's dedication to ensuring our stay was comfortable and enjoyable.||The guest rooms, whether slopeside or valley view, offer a cozy 460 square feet of space, suitable for a family of four. While these rooms are smaller than those at the Montage, they are more spacious than comparable rooms at the Stein. The main challenge lies in storing a week's worth of ski clothing and gear. The bathroom, on the other hand, is quite large, featuring a jacuzzi tub and a separate stand-up shower. The televisions embedded in the vanity mirrors are a nice touch, especially for the kids, who thoroughly enjoyed watching TV while soaking. Additionally, the grand deluxe rooms come equipped with gas fireplaces, which not only warm the room but also give it a luxurious ski lodge feel —a perfect way to unwind and dry off damp ski gear after a day on the slopes.||Dining:||We arrived at the hotel in the late afternoon, just missing the chance to ski. Opting instead for an early dinner, we headed to Brasserie 7452, located adjacent to RIME near the funicular. The lively atmosphere of the restaurant and adjoining bar, filled with guests enjoying their Apres drinks, immediately struck us. Thankfully, as hotel guests, we were granted priority on the Brasserie waitlist and were seated promptly, despite the restaurant's no-reservations policy. Remember, you need to be physically present to add your name to the restaurants waitlist, but mentioning your stay at St. Regis ensures a quicker seating. We enjoyed our experience so much that we dined at the Brasserie again on our final evening, with special thanks to Glen and Elonora for their excellent service and insightful tips about Park City and the surrounding area.||Each morning, we enjoyed breakfast at the Library Café, conveniently located off the lobby. The café offers a delightful selection of grab-and-go items, including egg frittatas, burritos, pastries, muffins, hot oatmeal, yogurt parfaits, and bagels with lox. A noteworthy perk for Platinum Elite Members is the daily breakfast credit, redeemable at either the Library Café or RIME. This thoughtful benefit added significant value to our stay, enhancing our overall experience at this exquisite resort.||Other restaurants at the resort include La Stellina (Italian) and RIME (American/Steakhouse) which we’ve dined at in the past but not during this stay. There are also some great grab and go options for lunch.||Ski Valet: ||One of the standout amenities of the St Regis Deer Valley during the wintertime (which deserves its own category in this review) is the ski valet service located on the lower level of the hotel. The staff in this room were some of the most polite and hard working individuals we met all week. Each morning between 8:30 and 9:30 (the morning rush) the staff brought out our ski boots (which had been buckled and dried the night before) and asked if we’d like assistance getting into our boots. In addition, our skis and poles were lined up in the snow ready for the day ahead. At the end of the day, the staff collected our skis and poles from the racks outside and offered assistance removing our gear. This luxurious amenity eliminates the usual hassles of a ski vacation and is priceless when travelling with young children.||Amenities: ||Throughout our stay, we enjoyed an array of complimentary amenities thoughtfully provided by the hotel. Each morning, from 6-10am, a complementary coffee and tea bar was stocked with delicious coffee and selection of organic teas, setting the tone for a refreshing start to the day. The ski valet further elevated our experience by offering bottled water which was available throughout the day. In the afternoon, a delightful touch awaited with individually packaged bags of popcorn to enjoy as we arrived back from a full day of skiing. ||As the day unfolded, the hotel continued to charm with indulgent offerings such as a hot chocolate and hot apple cider bar in the lobby from 4-6pm, complete with an enticing array of toppings including shaved chocolate and fluffy marshmallows. The experience crescendoed at 6pm with the captivating ritual of champagne sabering by the central fireplace, followed by a complimentary glass of champagne—an elegant finale to the day's adventures. Our guest room, was thoughtfully stocked with an ample supply of bottled water and daily chocolates each evening during turndown service. ||Shuttle Service:||The complimentary shuttle service made getting to and from main street very easy. Upon check-in you’re given a code to use and an app to download that enables you to reserve a shuttle/car service for your party. There are only about 3-4 shuttles so keep in mind during peak dinner times they can be harder to get and reserve accordingly. This eliminates the need to rely on Uber and allowed us to travel as a large group with friends.||Final Thoughts:||The St. Regis Deer Valley is a special place to our family and we eagerly look forward to future visits. The combination of exceptional service, breathtaking surroundings, and top-notch amenities makes it a worthwhile look if your venturing to Deer Valley or the Park City area.

Cozy great service hotel. The ski services are outstanding. They Help with putting on and taking off ski boots if you need it. Makes skiing seamless. The hotel offers great amenities like an Uber type of shuttle and free hot cocoa and smores everyday. The rooms are nice. The pool, spa and restaurants are great. All the staff are terrific.

Had a great stay! A few minor snafus with the team (lots of interns/exchange students), but they did their best and made everything right. The concierge made great recommendations for off-site restaurants. Lots of family focused activities in the afternoon. Vintage Room was a lot of fun for the grown ups! All in all, recommend a stay for Deer Valley skiing.

Not a Five Star resort but has promises. At a four start hotel you have to ask someone to get you something. At a true five star hotel you just make eye contact and they bring it to you without you having to ask, yes, they are that good. I'm thinking of La Mansion Del Rio in old San Antone. OK, my Cajun french is showing. Love ya!

Phenomenal food and friendly, fantastic service from Sonny. The beef patty was to die for and everything else (oxtail, roti curry, jerk chicken and shrimp) was so flavorful too! We'll definitely be back soon.
