The Spot La Jolla - Bar & grill in La Jolla - 1005 Prospect St, USA

Over the weekend we stayed in the ❤️ of La Jolla. We discovered this place and it didn't disappoint. So many options to choose. Daughter ordered wings and son the individual stuffed pepperoni 🍕 Hubby and I tried the lobster soup and split the delicious Cuban 🥪 😋 Everything was delicious and can't wait to return to try other items. Loved the Holiday vibe and captured a shot by their beautiful 🎄

It was a great last-minute brunch. My boyfriend and I ended up just getting the soup of the day "Seafood Soup" and French Onion Soup since we were hungover. New Year's 😅. I also ordered the Sweet Potato fries and a beer on tap. All around it was a great atmosphere. The service was very polite and attentive, and the restaurant itself was clean and had character. Next time I visit La Jolla, I will keep this spot in mind for drinks and comfort bites 🍻🍽

Great local “spot” in the heart of La Jolla Village. Work across the street is this is the place my colleagues and I go to on the regular to grab lunch or a drink after work. Awesome, cozy atmosphere, good menu and plenty of drinks.

We LOVED The Spot! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and our server was INCREDIBLE! Our family of four (6 & 15 year old kiddos) had an enjoyable evening dining at The Spot. We played a game of Trouble while waiting for our food. Our server was attentive and, offered recommendations, and accommodated our requests. We would highly recommend the fried fish tacos. The garlic bread was fantastic, too. Stop by The Spot and enjoy!

We're in town to celebrate our son and future daughters-in-law's graduation from USMC DI School. Walked by here during the day and thought we'd stop in for dinner. Glad we did. Nick was our server and he was excellent. Had Mike's potato skins to start. They were delicious. Since we weren't starving, we ordered a small thin crust pizza, mushrooms, spinach & black olives. It hit the spot. The atmosphere is full of young, energetic people. Gets a bit loud for us baby boomers, yet it's all good. We'd recommend.

we just passed by this restaurant and it tasted amazing and made our day great! the onion rings under the lamb shanks were the best we ever had. the battered shrimp was also crispy and fresh. the spicy pasta could have used a little more depth but the pasta sauce was great to go with the bread on the side

Food was delish, so we're the drinks. Ordered apps n shared them. There is seating outside. Wasn't busy at all. Service was good.

Great location. Great food. Great service. The outdoor seating is best. Inside is a bit darker and louder. All of the food we had was really good. Some of the dishes were a bit more expensive, but you are paying for the location. I would eat here again to try more of the menu. The fish tacos and chicken fingers were flavorful. The onion rings were good as well.
