Unexpectedly found this gem while trying to help a friend visit 3 new states on her quest to visiting all 50 states.
The location near an empty mall gave me pause, but it was love at first, second and third bite.
The omotuo and peanut soup is delicious. The pepper soup is spicy and flavorful. The Jollof rice and chicken was also tasty.
The food was so good I stopped the impromptu roadtrip just to highly recommend this spot.
Excellent flavors, great ambiance and superb service. No complaints. The spices were perfect, the textures on point. Really fabulous lunch, highly recommend!
Came because I searched for Jamaican food. This place wasn't really Jamaican but food was amazing, friendly staff and great atmosphere. Food was amazing son had curry chicken/rice. I had goat. Absolutely 💯 for this place.
To say this is the best food in the Moorhead area, hell in the state of Minnesota, would be an understatement. I wish I had two stomachs so I could keep eating. It was my first time experiencing authentic African cooking and I’m absolutely shocked by how flavorful and put together it was. Don’t bother looking anywhere else, this will be your best meal in Moorhead. Oh and don’t be afraid to order multiple dishes, everything here was delicious. The perfect meal to make you feel happy all day.
Super friendly! The proprietor (I believe) gave recommendations for different levels of adventurousness for folks unfamiliar with the cuisine. The food was tasty and the portions generous.
Fabulous food! A little heat and definitely Caribbean flair. Two teenage boys ate the spicy cauliflower appetizer and wanted more 😮 For three of us, 2 drinks, 3 appetizers, and 3 entrees, the bill (with tip) was about $100 - a bit on the pricey side for FM.
The food was wonderful. I'm happy to find a restaurant in the F-M area that serves plantains! I definitely want to go back and try more of the menu. The staff was a little quiet and distant, but friendly. Don't be afraid to ask the staff questions - they were more than happy to answer all of mine!
The fried rice was really good! Really liked the chill atmosphere and great music playing. The food was very good. Be warned, most of the entrees push $20 but it is totally worth it!

I am reviewing this as a wedding venue:
I recently choose to have my wedding here (on the grounds with a reception in the arts center building). It was absolutely gorgeous, everyone raved how beautiful it was. There were so many great pictures taken
