The Sono Chicago - Bed & breakfast in Chicago - 1428 N Cleveland Ave, USA

I wasn’t sure what to expect booking this stay, but I was so pleasantly surprised with how lovely the accommodations were! The house was beautiful, the beds were comfortable, and the guests were friendly and the team was welcoming! It was very quiet at night, but that was perfect coming back to relax and sleep deeply! I will try to stay here every time I come to Chicago, it was a lovely stay! 🥰

After making a reservation at this hotel in Chicago, I contacted them to inquire about the possibility of setting up a crib in the room for my child. To my shock, I was told to cancel my reservation because children were not allowed. It is absolutely shocking that a hotel would outright forbid children without making this policy abundantly clear to potential guests. This situation was extremely frustrating and inconvenient. I would not recommend this hotel to families or anyone who expects clear and honest communication from their accommodation providers.

Lovely accommodations. Quiet and comfortable. The croissants at breakfast were delicious!! Everything about our stay was easy. Parking right out front, walkable neighborhood. El stop nearby. We went to a Cubs game and a comedy club and enjoyed shopping and dinners. Breakfast was simple and perfect. Will definitely stay again.

This is an exceptional well run hotel.|I am from a hospitality background and know that people like Adie are as scarce as "hen's teeth"in the industry.|Adie does everything for you to feel comfortable, and knows everything about the locale and what is needed for you to enjoy your stay.|If I was still involved in the Hotel industry I would be trying to get Adie to work for me, she has all the attitude and aptitude to be very successful in this industry.|The room and bed were very comfortable, the breakfast on time and an improvement on the usual offering. |If you want a great place to stay in Chicago that is not a big name hotel chain, you will enjoy staying here.|Disclaimer: I had never met Adie before staying here and am not from, or live in the USA.

Great location for a weekend stay in Chicago with a nice rooftop hangout spot and all the better amenities of both a hotel and a B&B. Also only a short walk to Old Town and lots of other great neighborhoods.

Excellent place to stay, we have been there twice. It's very quiet and well maintained, will not hesitate to book again!

Our room was quiet, comfortable and immaculate, and the breakfasts plentiful, tasty and companionable. The rooftop hangout is a great bonus. The neighbourhood is quiet and full of interesting features, and the 'L' proved a very convenient way of getting downtown quickly. We hope we will get back there before too long.
