The Sojourn Los Angeles – Sherman Oaks - Hotel in Sherman Oaks - 15485 Ventura Blvd, USA

The Sojourn exceeded our expectations. The room was clean and the king size bed was comfy. The water pressure in the shower was excellent and the AC worked great! The large flat screen TV is also a nice addition. The staff were very helpful and friendly with a special thanks and shout out to Emily. She took the time to ask about our stay at check out. Furthermore, Emily went above and beyond to show us a room that we were interested in reserving for our next stay. She was a GREAT help and we look forward to our next stay at The Sojourn!

It's a good budget hotel. It's clean and the bed is kind of comfy. I didn't like the shower though, very high water pressure and felt shabby. Service was very good and the breakfast included was good! A lot of sugar though but still, you could get a decent breakfast. Free water bottles to take with you in the breakfast room. We stayed for two nights and I would recommend to stay more than that. This place is not comfy enough. But it's perfect if you need a good budget hotel for a short time. Location is good, I mean, in LA you will sit in traffic for hours anyway, no matter where you live.

It's a very nice little motel, especially for the price. The room was not huge, but clean and comfortable, and the a/c worked great (this week was brutally hot!). We received excellent host service from David, who was professional, yet warm and friendly. It's a great affordable option in a nice area that's close to everything. The complimentary breakfast options were good (there were non-dairy options, and I noticed that there was Kosher bread available). The decor is charming, there was free wifi, and the parking is more than adequate (also free!). Thank you!

Great location and very clean rooms. Staff was also very friendly. There were 2 of us on this stay and it would have been nice to have 2 chairs in the room so we could sit and eat in our room. One star off because the breakfast was very basic. Cereal and pre made packaged rolls and banana bread. Would have been nice to have something of protein like bacon or eggs. Other than that the place was very clean and I would definitely stay there again when visiting LA

I want to give it a better review. The rooms are cute and should be comfortable, but we got two rooms and in one, the ac was on and the room felt fine. The other was stuffy and hot. When we turned the AC on, it was LOUD... Not little retro hotel room loud, and much louder than the other room. But when my husband called down to see if we could get another room, the guy just kept insisting they are all loud.

I’ve had a really good time staying there, everything is great. The service the breakfast and the rooms are clean and nice. Only downside is sometimes at night the parking lot is full even though I’ve paid for it extra 11 dollars, and when I wanted to extend my stay they had to open a new reservation and charge another 100 deposit. Would recommend this place!

David check us is and he was so wonderful! Super friendly and an all around sweetheart. He have great advise and suggestions. That was the start of a great stay. Parking was free which is a big plus in Cali and it was close for universal. The rooms are adequate sizing and very clean. I’ve seen a lot of rooms complain about minor things and say hey beds aren’t too comfy, well it’s around $100 a night so stop expecting the Hilton. It’s obvious someone took like an old motel 6 and made it a very cute little motel style stay on the cheap. However, the morning grab and go breakfast is the BEst I’ve seen at a cheaper end motel/hotel. The owner and staff put in a lot of effort that should be commended. If we come back to this area we would stay again! Thanks for everything!

We stayed here in July & Thoroughly enjoyed it. The room, bathroom, shower & air con were all great, the towels were replaced daily & The fridge in the room was a welcome addition to some places I’ve stayed that don’t offer one. Breakfast was plain & simple and well received each morning, The pool was just the right size & not too busy, it was also fully equipped with an array of inflatables for kids (& adults) parking was easy, we didn’t struggle at all for a space, there are a few restaurants across the road, a 7eleven within 3 minute walk, or lots of other restaurants along Ventura a mile or so in each direction of the hotel. It’s close to the freeway if your heading out on trips or exploring the sights & if your clever about things and go up through Encino Drive your only 15 minutes away from the glorious sights of the city from Mulholland. There is also an Amazon Fresh 5 mins away & a Ralph’s supermarket where we went to within a ten minute drive All in all, great place, great location, great time had We would most definitely stay again 🇬🇧✈️🇺🇸
