I stayed at the Inn for a wedding weekend in early January and it is one of the nicer hotel experiences I have ever had! The rooms were very comfortable, quiet, and clean. We ate breakfast at the Inn twice and the food and service were both incredible. The hotel also hosted the wedding reception on Saturday evening and it was incredible. The food and service from cocktail hour hors d'oeuvres to the amazing catered buffet were impeccable. The staff also managed an open bar for the event of 170+ people and could not have been nicer. Highly recommend for anybody visiting Sewanee!
I photographed a wedding at Sewanee Inn a week ago. The venue was beautiful, all of the people were lovely and kind. The Inn is gorgeous, the food was wonderful... I loved the extra touches like the sugar scrub in the bathroom, the lemon water and coffee in the lobby, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff... there's not a single thing I could complain about. It was truly lovely.
Stayed at the Inn for a wedding. Accommodations were tony and food was delicious. We opted to eat at the Inn restaurant for breakfast and were very pleased. Good coffee, good cocktails at the bar, attentive staff. The 'Big Boy Skillet' is a must. Food at the reception was some of the best I've been served at a wedding. A trio of adroit bartenders kept waiting to a minimum the whole night, allowing me to enjoy my time cutting the rug instead of standing in a drink line. Would definitely stay again if the opportunity presents itself.
We stayed at the Sewanee in for a wedding. The accommodations were lovely but the food was the real treat! The catering was fresh and delicious, and breakfast was 5 stars! |The chef even came out to greet us and make us feel welcome. Thanks Chef Chris! You and your team are wonderful!
Beautiful Sewanee Inn sitting on the golf course near the University of the South Sewanee. I was very impressed by the doorman greeting us at the front door. The beautiful Christmas tree and decorations in the lobby flowed on up the grand staircase. There is also an elevator. The room was very clean, and quiet. We woke up refreshed from a good nights sleep on the comfy beds. The restaurant and bar are excellent. The staff are very attentive and friendly. We will definitely be returning!
We dined for dinner recently, and were frankly blown away at how wonderful our meals were. The pork meatloaf was so unique and fabulous. My friend got the lambchops in a pasta broth that was outstanding. The service was fabulous too. We will back again and again.
Hidden gem. Clean, comfortable, cozy, great service and food! Beautiful area too. Off the beaten path and such an awesome change from typical franchise hotel. I don’t know why trip advisor makes you write a review with a minimum of 200 characters!
Such a wonderful hotel. Seriously the nicest and softest beds ever. I need to know the brand since I’m considering getting one. Staying here was so relaxing. We went on a nice hike within walking distance. The service was amazing as well! Very clean

Easy to get to once you get there. The parking lot is just a few feet from the Natural Bridge; however, the short hike down is a little dicey for those who are not sure footed. Great for kids.
A few days ago my family and I ate at this quaint little restaurant. THE FOOD: We each ordered something different, and we were all very pleased! Good portion sizes, and super tasty. We also purchased a huge rice crispy treat and a delicious cinnamo
