Wow! This place is good! We had a catered breakfast at work today from them and everything was delicious. I think it's the best shrimp and grits this side of the Mississippi! Maybe even gives NOLA and the South Carolina Low Country a run! Even getting breakfast foods for delivery worked out well. The eggs were perfect and they explained all the foods when they dropped it off. Everyone had seconds and asked for take out containers. It was a hit for sure! I'm so glad to know that I'm only a 15 minute drive from home! Thanks Serving Spoon! You did an amazing job!
This was my first time here. Customer service was on point. We were greeted with a warm and friendly welcome. The food was fresh and seasoned well. My favorite item was the turkey chop, flavored to perfection and crispy🔥
Great breakfast and amazing service. They really make you feel like you are at home and the food tastes like it too! Good portions, you will not leave hungry. The potatoes are amazing and the cornbread is downright delicious. We recommend this place to any one that will listen.

Our group was very happy that we celebrated our end of year brunch at The Serving Spoon. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE was professional and very nice. People just aren't nice these days. Well, the staff at Serving Spoon are different, and we loved them! The food was delicious, and the service was impeccable. Our BlackECE educators are fans forever of The Serving Spoon!
This restaurant is black cuisine at its finest! Delicious food and exceptional customer service. About the food—every single morsel was some of the best I’ve had. Let me focus on some of the highlights. The home fries are incredible. Very savory and so well seasoned. Absolutely could’ve been satisfied with just eating that. I would highly recommend them. The French toast though? Crazy delicious! A must have. As mentioned, everything was delicious but those two items were the superstars. My very picky and hard to please son had the veggie omelette and gave it a perfect 10. My daughter had the catfish with a waffle, and added a side of bacon and fries and gave everything a perfect 10. Now…about the service—the service here was so exceptional, it truly should be the standard for all restaurants to live by. Our waitress was phenomenal, very knowledgeable, and very attentive. Overall, this will not be our last visit and I would highly recommend paying this local gem and landmark a visit. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
OMG, I love my black own businesses. The food was delicious, The music was on point it made me enjoy my food more. I felt like I was at home surrounded by my family. Everyone was friendly from the employees to the customers. And I love the positive poster hanging on the wall
