I would definitely come back. Bright, clean, and the staff were really friendly. Each room is different, so you don't get that cookie-cutter feeling. Not fancy, but spotless and up-to-date. My room had a cute porch looking over the pool and right onto beach grass waving on the dunes. Looking forward to staying there next time on business or vacation.
The best hosts I have ever had at a small beach front motel !| Nothing fancy about the accommodations, in fact very basic efficiency rooms. What makes this place special is the location and the staff.|The motel is on the beach with easy access and light crowds. It is an easy walk to the main entertainment area. |The staff is great. I asked for early check in and late check out. because it was off season, they were very accomodating. When we were caught in a rainstorm without a umbrella, the nice person at the front desk, went to her car and allowed me to use hers for the evening. Each time my wife or I had a question, or a need, it was met with a smile and a helpful answer. Thank you for your kindness.|Our 3 night visit went by to fast.
On the upside, the staff was friendly and the location is fantastic--right on the beach and easily walkable to restaurants and attractions. Unfortunately, the place is very worn and basic and was juuuuuust this side of tolerably clean, but it was close. My shower drain was clogged and the towels/bedding were very tired. Also, noise was a HUGE issue. I had Room 2 and it had a connecting door to another room. Everything from the other room was clearly audible, which is not fun if you have rowdy neighbors. On top of that, the only fan/AC is from an exceedingly loud wall unit. Even though it was slightly less expensive than neighboring properties, next time I'll probably splash out a bit more and stay somewhere a little cleaner and better maintained.
We stayed on a busy weekend, when the Inn was fully booked, so it is a popular place to stay. We would stay again, if other hotels we prefer have no vacancy, but only if we can have a different room. Our room had a king sized bed, refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Cups, spoons and coffee provided. No tea!|Pros: Super friendly owner and staff. This and the proximity to the beach, restaurants and entertainment, are the redeeming qualities of an almost sub-par Inn. Onsite (free) parking and a pool. While many hotels provide room service again, only towels are refreshed, as needed. When I am on vacation, I enjoy returning to a clean room with my bed made.|Cons: A huge (but, granted, beautiful) dune blocks any view from ground level. Very bright light outside the pool facing room we had, which the vinyl blinds and sheer curtain did not block. A good quality blind is needed here. The AC was extremely loud. Very old maybe? The decor is very dated. Almost no room service. Credit card fee is passed on to the guests.|
Took the family at the end of August for our annual beach trip. First time staying here, but always go to the Carolina Beach Kure Beach area. Great little place for a family vacation. Couldn't have asked for anything more. It's right on the beach. Accessible to Wilmington and all of the benefits that a bigger city has but far enough away that it still has that small beach feel. Hotel management was fantastic, walked in with a question and wound up spending 20 minutes talking to the owner. Will definitely go back it's the first place I'm going to call next year when we come back!
Drove in middle of the week, mid November and found this place. Needed a room for 2 nights and they had a vacancy. We got the king bed room on 2nd floor overlooking the pool/ocean - not a better view anywhere. Shower was hot and great, room was clean and service was exceptional. Only thing I'd say was that the extra chair/ottoman were dirty and old and possibly broken too. Also, there's no sleeping in w/no black out shades. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend and stay here again!
Old but well kept, AC was a bit noisy. Parking is very tight, full size trucks are almost impossible if the lot is full. Awesome beach front location, close to the boardwalk.
Great place to stay. Walking distance to everything but pier. Very accommodating and nice. Only negative thing I have is the parking a tight if you have a big truck like mine. But any regular car/suv fits perfect.

Was greeted the second I walked in the door the hostess was very nice. I took a seat at the bar. I just loved the ambiance of the place and music selection. The bartender recommended his daily special cocktail, and I was glad he did. I started wit
Where my dream started. Itâs all because a boy asked me on a date and he took me to this exact spot 8 years ago. Bbq burgers on the beach and watched a full moon rise! You could drive all the way down back then and it was much cheaper! Fast forward
Great location. And a good deal. The old-school 2nd-floor 2-BR suite was very clean. Nice view of Carolina Lake. Short walk to the beach. No complaints. Would/will do it again. Mary runs a tidy ship.
Loved Carolina Beach. The boardwalk fireworks show was the best I have ever seen in my life. Brits Donuts is a must, and all the shops are great. Super ice cream shops too.
Best run business in the area. Beyond efficient. Small breakfast house with delish home-cooked meals. Fresh and well prepared southern breakfast along with many new school options. Grits were among the best I've ever had. And I eat them several times
This is the place to go as a sushi lover! It was my 20th birthday and we decided to have a birthday dinner here. The fish was so buttery and fresh! I got salmon roe as well as sushi and it was so fresh that it tasted like they had just collected it
The last time I came here was 2018 but I finally came back and itâs just as wonderful! The crab dip is my favorite thing, but everything is delicious! The waitstaff is very friendly and polite and the atmosphere is super cozy and tropical. I will p
We stayed at the Seawitch on New Yearâs Eve. The lady running the motel was super friendly. We arrived a couple hours early. While we couldnât check in early since she was short staffed and the room wasnât ready yet, she did allow us to remain
