The Saratoga Hilton - Hotel in Saratoga Springs - 534 Broadway, USA

Our visit was not what we expected from a Hilton, especially the appearance of ants at the end! There was a drink left in the fridge from the previous guest. Our room had an overwhelming smell of bleach upon entering it every day. The room felt damp. The remote control and TV were defective. The front desk replaced our remote control, but the problem continued. The front desk staff were confused about existing problems in the hotel. As a result they offered us complmentary drinks at the bar in the hotel. However, when we placed our order, we were disappointed to find that they were low on supplies and couldn't make the drink that I ordered. Our stay was stressful, but we tried to make the best of it. We would have requested to be moved to another room, but we had been told that the hotel was completely booked. We were really glad to be leaving the hotel when we discovered ants in our bathroom on the morning that we checked out. We shared our experience with customer service, and they gave us a few reward points to make up for our experience, but they didn't seem to really genuinely care whether we visited a Hilton again or not.

The hotel was not up to a normal standard Hilton in my eyes. The elevator was junky, the beds were only doubles(for double rooms) the shower filled up half way up the shower, not draining properly. The outside area was nice and the restaurant was decent. For 300 a night I would expect it to be a lot nicer.

Perfectly located Hilton, 6 min drive from the racetrack and 1min walk from town. The hotel is fairly large with god sized rooms which could use a small refreshment but are still quite good. Service at the breakfast restaurant is slightly slow and the a la carte menu not as diverse as what you generally find. But overall a pretty good choice for Saratoga.

The staff was tremendous. Front desk, housekeeping, Bellmen, all great. The rooms are outdated.. Could have been cleaner and the shower was the worst shower I’ve ever had in a hotel. The water trickled out of the faucet/showerhead. The front desk could only say “sorry”. No discount, no remedy. Nothing. Over $500 a night during track season should get you much better than this. 👎👎👎

100/100 EXPERIENCE. I cannot speak highly enough of this property and their staff. I managed a large group reservation during Belmont Stakes weekend, which happened to also be during the height of wedding season, and their staff was INCREDIBLE. I travel a LOT for work, and deal with a LOT of different hotel staff and this team was truly outstanding. From the front desk team to the bell staff and the housekeeping department, the service was above and beyond helpful. They understood my needs and went out of their way to not only meet them, but to make me personally feel welcomed and give me peace of mind. I will 10000% book there again.

Strange Hilton Hotel. Dark, no good light, the rooms need an urgent update, very noisy (impossibly noisy AC in the room). The only nice thing is direct sunlight in the lobby. It is not very clean. At least this is the impression you receive, maybe because of the hotel's age. The Restaurant is very average; they don't even serve Espresso, and some of the ladies who serve are a bit weird..... Unfriendly people at the reception. Not the Hilton quality.

I went inside to ask for a comb, chanting the Name of Our Lord, Jesus Christ, and wishing all I met well when hotel staff immediately called state police, who were working inside told Me to leave. Fortunately I got the comb, but what rude service. It doesn't matter who walks in, treat everyone with respect and love. I'd love a job, but no one hires. They just do this nonsense. Sheesh. Thanks for the comb. All it cost was some self respect. Sigh.

This property has been going downhill for years, and is now close to rock bottom. The entrance is a mess, featuring damaged stuck doors that do not open automatically and a broken smokers' pole. The elevators are ancient and crash into you if you try to enter in less than two seconds. There is no coffee available in the spacious lobby; you have to pay for it behind the reception desk. The carpets are worn and stained. There are no amenity packets in the bathroom, so bring your own cotton balls and Q-tips. The finish on the furniture is worn. Absolutely zero charm.
