This place has a fantastic location. As you walk down Elkhorn Ave, you'll notice a cool little sign at the start of an alleyway that says "Pizza." You'll also find a sign that points you through the alleyway and a menu. I give them credit for including the menu there as well; it makes it easier to decide to eat there without any pressure. Once you reach the end of the alley, you'll see the entrance. There is a second floor with seating and a bathroom, but you'll order downstairs. I will say, there isn't much seating, however, this place is more of a quick lunch before heading back to your stroll.
The service was excellent - friendly and fast. The food came out fairly quickly. We ordered a pepperoni pizza, and something about their dough just tasted great. In my opinion, it was a very good pizza. We definitely enjoyed what this place had to offer. The unique location and delicious pizza make it a must-try!
We stopped here for a light bite and knowing we wanted pizza, reviews said this would be a good stop. Staff were great, service was quick, good prices. We split one personal pan pizza (10”) pepperoni. The crust was okay. It’s a thinner crust without much for flavor. The sauce to cheese to toppings ratio was good. We sat in the little upstairs area and they brought it to us. Bathroom available. Good selection of canned drinks.
The staff here is exceptionally friendly and attentive. They made sure my dining experience was top-notch, and I appreciated their recommendations on sandwich pairings.
The Sandwich Mafia also takes cleanliness and hygiene seriously, which is especially important in these times. The dining area was spotless, and I felt comfortable throughout my meal.
Totally great customer service and an awesome atmosphere! The food was amazing to say the least! Super fast service! We got a calzone, and a nonnas meatball sub. These guys are doing an awesome job.!!
Delicious but pricey for the portion & quality. A $20 sandwich should be on magnificent bread! The quality has gone downhill a bit since they opened. I'm glad their hours are a little more flexible now.
Cute restaurant down an alley which was neat. Service was great. Had some interesting sodas to choose from (including root beer made right in Estes). 4 stars simply due to the fact that even though the sandwiches are good, they're essentially just your every day lunch meat. Clean restaurant.
Great little casual pizza spot. Friendly service.
Pizza itself had a great thin chewy NY style crust, though was a little lean on sauce and cheese. People working were very much on top of it and friendly.
Would eat there again, though having a way to get tap water instead of only buying bottled would be nice.
The food was good. We came back after we had 1st time visiting.
