The Sandpiper Beacon Beach Resort - Hotel in Panama City Beach - 17403 Front Beach Rd, USA

Been staying here for 10 years and I have never been disappointed. We always LOVE our stay here. The staff are always so friendly and security is always walking around. There is always things to do at Sandpiper so you don't even have to leave the resort. Hands down the best place to stay in Panama City Beach!!

We had a group of 100 Their service was pretty decent, when we arrived rooms were ready with room keys They have a restaurant food was ok, location is great, pool is small, rooms are small, but for the price, it’s not bad.

At first I was hesitant. Room was clean, appliances were super clean, bathroom clean. Yes there was little bars of soap but who cares . I had a roll of paper towels and toilet paper already. Had so much fun. Everyone was friendly. I only suggest getting rid of the carpet throughout the whole place and new mat’s because they are so faded.

The reason we selected this place is because it says the pool are heated. The pools are not freezing but still too cold to enjoy swimming. This has made our stay not fun with our grand kids. Next year we will look for somewhere else to stay

I'm giving this resort 5 stars because of how fun it was and the location, but I want to elaborate on why 4 stars by many is reasonable. We stayed in a King + Queen Sofa Sleeper with a kitchen. We also brought our dog, so it is possible we got a more dated room to accommodate him (hotels usually choose older/non renovated rooms for pets, totally fine). First impression: the entire place is dated with very minimal supplies for the kitchen and bathroom. Then we realized that we had a huge patio with the most beautiful view of the beach. Our bed faced the glass doors, so we got to wake up each morning to a phenomenal view! We didn't go on this trip to stay in a fancy resort - we wanted comfortable, fun, and easy access to the beach. That's exactly what it turned out to be! The staff wasn't over the top with their customer service, but they were all nice enough! Their restaurant across the street, Coconuts, was fun, and their staff was great there - they were super accommodating to our pup. The on-site bar was a blast with karaoke and pool tables. The ice cream shop was good. There were very nice swings throughout to relax on, adorable kitties throughout the outside playing, and loungers to rent on the beach. We came to actually sort of like the dated appearance of everything because it reminded us of the charm from the old beach places we went to growing up. They aren't kidding when they call it the fun place. We actually decided that we would be back because of how fun it was and incredibly affordable. Just don't go expecting a whole lot of your room, and focus on going to have a good time! If you have a room without a beach view, I definitely wouldn't plan on being inside much since they face inward towards other rooms.

Loved everything about this place except the front desk workers and our room. We called and told them how many ppl we had and needed a room to accommodate us all and didn't get it, instead a really small room compared to the ones we walked past that were still available. The bar was the best with the best staff kids loved everything they had to offer roaches everywhere outside but saw them everywhere down there

We have been coming here for about 14 years. The location is great, the extra parking across the street is actually better and easier to get in and out than trying to snag a spot in front. You almost don't need to leave the property at all. There are 3 pools, the lazy river, an ice cream place, a gift shop that has some essentials you might have forgotten, a deli, a bar, and much more. Across the street- about a 2 minute walk from your room is Coconuts restaurant. We used to get the standard rooms but we began getting the next upgrade the last few years and those are the rooms to get! You have a balcony, 1 bedroom with 2 beds in it, and the rest of the room has a bed, couch, full fridge, mini stove and table. Now , all that being said, WE COME HERE FOR THE CATS! We absolutely love seeing the cats sunning and walking around. A lot of people feed them. Honestly, if they got rid of the cats I don't know if this would be our vacation spot every year. We talk about trying out Destin, or other places but the cats and the tiki bar keep us coming here every year! The one bad thing , bring your own toilet paper. They have a really awful 1 ply that's not even good enough to blow your nose with either.

Very disappointed with this stay. Bathroom only had a few bars of soap no shampoo etc. like most motels, no safety mat in bathtub/shower. Kitchen had no dish detergent and only some old scratched up cookware, 4 plates, 4 small bowls and no cups or glasses. Nasty feral cats on patio and no lease rule for dogs. When someone threw their left overs on and around our table outside I asked for someone to clean it up and they brought me a broom and dustpan to clean it up myself. This placed marked off my list.
