Fabulous experience from start to finish. Bright, cheerful room, spotlessly clean and the staff~stellar. I’ve already booked my next stay. Lisa goes above and beyond in assisting guests.|Two chairs are available for use in the sand. Multiple seating and umbrellas on the grounds. Large U-shaped seating outside to get to know the other guests if you so choose.

The very best on the beach! Very clean, personal and quint! Plenty of outdoor private lounge areas. Mini bar drinks are water, soda and Gatorade with only 2-2.50 price. Salty sales gives a 10% discount on rentals to guests and I strongly suggest taking advantage. We biked the entire beach and it was amazing. Also amazing is the ‘rock star’ staff that set the vibe of friendliness! Izzy, Judy and Mary took great care of us and we thank you all for the first of many visits!

This independent 5 room hotel is right on the beach. Each room as a private patio area with two chairs and a small table, perfect for watching the ocean while drinking a morning coffee. The larger shared lawn area has umbrellas and beach chairs for relaxing by the beach. The rooms are clean and comfortable and come with microwave, fridge, and coffee maker. The owners and staff are welcoming and very accommodating. The hotel is an easy walk to all the shops and restaurants of Flagler Street. There were several days we never used our car - a real bonus in our book. We booked the accessible room and found it well suited for wheelchair use.

I can not say enough about this tiny hidden gem! Perfect location, great staff and clean! We have been visiting family in Daytona for 25+ years and have always stayed there. At only 25 minutes away from the hustle and bustle this is our new go to! 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND

It doesn’t look like much but it is a nice little place with only 5 rooms. The only downfall is that there is no pool but it is right in the beach with access out the sliding doors. The place is very clean (and I am fussy), the room is very cool with great AC. The shower has good pressure and plenty of hot water and the towels are nice and thick. We had a little mishap with checkin when they told us the room would be ready in 30 min and I’d get a call when it was ready but when we returned no one was there as we sat melting in the heat for someone to return. We were rescued by another guest who happened to have the owners phone number. We called all the numbers we had and even texted with no response. Other than that, our stay was very enjoyable and they do add many comforts like cold water and other drinks in the fridge, beach chairs and towels, lounge chairs in the back yard. I recommend!

Been coming here for years. Lisa and her team are awesome, friendly, and consistent. Can’t beat the price, location, and comfort. Ps - to the dude that left a review about getting pink eye….maybe wash your hands after bathroom use. Most common cause of pink eye is due to fecal matter. 🤷‍♂️

Just got back from a perfect weekend at the Salty Mermaid NSB. If you're looking for killer views of the Atlantic, private patio to drink coffee (morning) and wine (anytime 😊), walkable to everything, rent bikes for a beach ride, and immaculate clean rooms then look no further and book your stay at the Salty Mermaid. I stayed here for a wedding about a month ago as it was the only hotel I could find in the area that did not have a two-night minimum. The location was great and honestly the room looked pretty nice when I first entered it. The staff was very friendly when I checked-in as well. My only complaint is that they clearly need to do a better job at cleaning the rooms and washing the bedding as I woke up the following morning and my eye was really itchy. I ended up getting what my doctor claimed to be the worst case of pink eye he had seen. It took 17 days to go away! I know you tried to say you have no record of me staying at your business, which is false. My reservation # was 26302452 and I would be more than happy to share a screenshot of my confirmation email.
