This is a pretty cool, private, toll road, that takes you to the top of a mountain. Enjoy the ride up and once you get there, the views are spectacular. There is a building with bathrooms and two viewing platforms. The scenery is breath-taking. Highly recommend this quick trip.

This mountain killed my Subaru.. yes, it about died just as we reached the peak. :(. I'm now a Ford owner after being told it needed a new engine. Gorgeous ride up & beautiful views though!

You need to have a car with a good break system to go there and buy a token ($25 per car and a driver). Outstanding experience and stunning view! Also, it is a small museum and shelter against wind or rain (if it happens).

The views were amazing. However, it would have been better if the humidity hadn't been literally hanging in the air! It was foggy and could see all the beautiful greens. The price for entry was a bit steep, but it was a nice drive, and the views were beautiful.

The views are OK. Nice little side trip but not a make a special trip.

You need to check in at the gift shop to purchase a token to open the gate before driving up the road. There is a driveway to the right of the gift shop leading to more parking. The road is nice with multiple spots to pull over and enjoy the view. The building at the top is open to the public. The left and right side of the building have balconies on the 2nd floor offering a higher unobstructed view. There are table's inside to sit at. There's also picnic tables outside to use if you like. Behind the building there is a trail you can explore. On the ride down I would recommend pulling over to let your breaks cool. The road is quite steep, even in low gear you gain speed quickly.

Great recreational area with a free beginner golf course (donations accepted). Farmers market here on Fridays. Nice trails and a good spot to get out of the river when tubing the Battenkill.
