My husband and I loved this place. Really pretty on the inside and felt upscale, but had a reasonable price point for really good food. The service was excellent. Katie F was fantastic! She was super sweet and gave great recommendations on food and drinks. We had the lobster bites, shrimp banh mi and spicy tuna roll. And they were all delicious. My husband had the Harvest Moon cocktail and I had a glass of Alexana Pinot noir ..both were delightful. After sitting for a while and not feeling rushed, we finished with the chocolate cake. It was so good!! Not too rich just really good! We will be back next time we’re in town.
As I entered The Rutledge of Franklin, my neck jerked back as I was in total sunroof the deeply sophisticated atmosphere of the restaurant. I’ve declared The Rutledge an instant classic based on real random unexpected interactions with customers who made me feel at home upon entering the restaurant. The service was elite first class personified & let me get to my experience with the food. The Steak Rolls were great & cooked to perfection. They weren’t over or under prepared & the rolls with nice & crispy to my liking. The signature meat ball plate with Angel Hair Pasta was nice and not heavy considering the meatballs in the dish. Tonight, The Rutledge is in my top 5 list of places to dine on a regular basis. I keep a top 5 list of places to dine when I don’t cook at home. I keep this rotation up to date as my dining habits evolve.
Fun spot for a nice date night! The food was great, we got the tuna tartar, kale Cesar salad and tuna tacos. The tartar did need a little salt/pepper for flavoring, but everything overall was yummy. It was slower on a Sunday too so quick and responsive service!
Spectacular! We started with an Angel's Envy Rye Old Fasioned and a seasonal cocktail called a Winter Bloom. The Old Fasioned was very good. The presentation of the Winter Bloom was beautifully creative. It was a fun, refreshing cocktail. I had a prime rib end cut with a loaded baked potato. The Au Jus was great. I often find it too salty. This was perfect. My wife had their surf and turf special, which was a bone-in filet topped with lobster and a Buerre Blanc sauce. Both entrees were fantastic. There was absolutely nothing they could have done to make them better. We finished with the graham cracker crusted apple cobbler with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and two cups of freshly brewed coffee. The dessert was as great as the meal. The only thing better than our meal was our server, Rachel. She epitomizes what I expect of a server at an upscale restaurant. She was fun and engaging. She knew the menu inside and out and made great suggestions. If you are visiting, make sure to ask for her section. You will thank me. Congratulations to The Rutledge. Great job all around.
What an amazing place with an amazing menu. We ordered several items and they were all exceptional. Not only were the ingredients extremely fresh. They were also prepared to perfection. Our server Cameron was such an excellent server. He made several suggestions that we all ordered. His depth of knowledge about the menu and his perfectly attentive serving style made this meal very memorable. Well done to Cameron! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💯🚀 We cannot wait to come back and visit. Also I was amazed at the very reasonable pricing.
Rachel was the best server! She made our dining experience exceptional. Perfect recommendations that were spot on.
We went for dinner and had a great time. The holiday cocktails were interesting and very festive. The food was generally good, mahi tacos were excellent, but I'd pass on the steak rolls. More like street cheesesteak filling than what I'd expect from a nicer dish. Staff was very friendly, and the atmosphere is really nice.
We were greeted with carnation flowers as we entered for Mother's Day! Our meal was delicious, service could have been better, but we had a good time! We had finished our appetizers by the time our entree orders were taken. That said, our drinks were tasty and everyone enjoyed their food! It was a great Mother's Day!

I read some negative reviews on the ribeye before going there. Of course, I had to try it. Those reviews were WRONG! Cozy atmosphere and excellent service. We arrived about minutes early for our reservation (reservations are highly recommended) and s

Food was wonderful other than having mold on our pretzel buns due to them being super fresh. The manager working took care of us and gave us $20 gift cards to bless and cover the meal, which was a huge blessing. Always have had a great experience, bu
