The Rusty Pig BBQ - Barbecue restaurant in Rincon - 360 S Columbia Ave, USA

We honestly haven't been to RP in yrs but decided to go for late lunch since our son gave us a gift card. The restaurant was neat and clean. You go up to the counter to order and pay, then they bring it to you. The 1st thing I noticed was fried mushrooms as an appetizer, so I immediately ordered those. Not being a big fan of BBQ pork, I ordered a small sandwich. It came with no sides, which was fine for me. My husband got a huge pork plate with sides. Items were reasonably priced. The mushrooms and sauce hit the spot, they were excellent, and leftovers went in the air fryer the next day. My sandwich really was good. I tried a couple of their homemade sauces, and they were very good. My husband's plate was great as well. Now that we've been reintroduced to RP we'll be going more often.

I really enjoyed the food, I liked the Bees Knees BBQ sauce on the pulled pork. The employees seemed like they would have rather been literally anywhere else. The server who delivered our meal literally tossed the sour cream on our table as she was walking away. The sweet tea was great also!

Excellent food, friendly people and fantastic sauces to spice up your meal. Plenty of parking and quick service.

Great food. The ribs was very tender. The staff was friendly and quick. The music was playing but not so loud that you couldn't carry on a conversation. Great atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Quality, value, and Service are spot on. Loved the Brunswick Stew! All of their homemade sauces are money (I mixed the Habanero Red and Bees Knees). The only thing I would ask ownership to adjust: I asked to leave a tip on my receipt, but was told they were not allowed, and if cash tips were forced upon them, management would collect and use it for donoughts for staff. Please allow your hardworking staff to accept tips to share amongst themselves. It's a great bonus for them and a nice way for your customers to express our appreciation for such wonderful and friendly service. :)

Decided to stop in because the reviews were pretty good on this place, our first time in. Walked in, stood at the door a few minutes before we noticed there was a counter to order at, no employee greeted us or directed us as to what we should do. The food arrived pretty quickly, but the brisket was very dried out and green beans had no flavor (straight out of a can). Our little guy got the rib plate and would only eat about half of them because the other half was rib jerky, wayyyy too done. The only great thing was their sauces.

Came on Saturday the 9th of December about 4-4:15. The food was fantastic, came out quick. My disappointment was the 3 young ladies standing at the register and acted like they could would rather be anywhere else but working. Barely a smile and acted like we were nothing but 3 old people bothering them. Management might want to speak with them as they are the first impression people get when they walk in. They could at least smile and act a bit more cheerful greeting customers.

The ribs were fabulous! Highly recommend. I preferred them with no sauce. The pulled pork was good. The sides were hit and miss. The coleslaw was delicious. The Mac n cheese, green beans and fried okra were not that great. The blueberry cobbler was also delicious! The service was great. Would definitely go back.
