Was very disappointed. Seated in the back corner like baby on dirty dancing. It was so loud in the back room. I asked the waitress about the fish and what she explained was fresh, beer battered cod. When it came out, it was triangle shaped pieces out a frozen box. The coleslaw was inedible and the $6 up charge for the garlic fries was ridiculous. It was only $2 up charge on other dinners for the same fries. My fries were green by the way. Wife got the Mediterranean salad and added chicken for a $4 dollar up charge. It was literally 4 dice sized pieces of chicken cut in half so she got 8 halves. Halfway through our meal a couple sat at a lower table and the same waitress told them of a sirloin special. Sure wish she would have informed us of this. I was going to have the Philly sandwich, but something tells me it would have been grosser then the fish. It’s definitely a dive, only a local hole that no one knows any better outside of the town on better eats. Glad we were just passing through. We will never be back.

We ate there twice. Both times the food and service was excellent. Friendly people. Try the pizza it was sooooo good!

The Rusty Moose is our family’s go to place especially when we have out of town guest. In fact when guest come to visit they ask to go to the Rusty Moose. The atmosphere is always an upbeat feel with a lot of cross conversations from table to table! Lots of laughter abounds! The food is delicious. We have never been disappointed in what we are served. The beef is locally sourced which is so important for high end flavors. The sides are carefully paired with the main course. The garlic fries are a garlic lovers dream! Delicious with a bit of blue cheese dressing! My usual lunch order is a bacon cheeseburger with fries. To go. It’s my treat for myself after getting all my chores done in town heading home. Best Bacon Cheeseburger in the Panhandle! Oh I’ve heard they have a very dark creamy beer on tap. It’s Irish.

Came here for dinner and there was a table of about 16 in the middle of the back room. They seated us up against the wall in the very back. It was so loud I thought I was at a 70’s rock concert man. I had to holler across the table to my friend to talk to her. They came and brought us water and the waitress kinda fumbled and didn’t take our order. She waited on the big table then 10 minutes later she took our order. Our order went in after theirs and it’s been 45 minutes now and we still have not gotten a refill or our food. It’s a Saturday night so I kinda get it but the worst part of the whole experience is we are non smokers and all we sell is smoke. Not sure where it’s coming from, but it’s horrible. She wants to leave and I said let’s just wait it out. We will never stop back in here again. I hope you have better luck then we did.

Witty conversation with the bar tender, and the food was great. The bacon was actually cooked instead of it being limp. Then she even came out to talk with the people eating. Over all couldn't really find anything wrong. Even the bathroom was clean.

We are just traveling through town and stopped here. The bartender was very nice and it seems like a family-owned bar since the 1940s. He said that location has been a bar for 122 years. Apparently the big secret of the bar is a wine cellar in the basement and if you ask the bartender about it he may let in on the secret.

Our food was delicious. Our waitress, Jennifer was great! Ate here 3 times while on our trip. Twice while staying in Bonner's Ferry, and once on our way back from Banff to Spokane.

If you'd have told me, I'd find the best pizza in the Rusty Moose, I probably wouldn't have believed you. But their pizza is insanely good. All made in-house and served with a smile by amazing wait staff. I highly recommend them over any other pizza place in the panhandle.
