We had a lovely experience at the hotel. The concierge give us an entire tour and told as it used to be called the honor mansion. The remodeling and the work that the new owners put in is beautiful. The grounds are spectacular, rooms are beautiful and large and breakfast was amazing. We definitely enjoyed our stay and the location could not be better. All the staff were wonderful and very helpful in making reservations for dinner. Definitely the best hotel around. We will be back

Very comfortable stay at the site of the considerably refurbished and rebuilt Honor Mansion. Squire's Cottage was an excellent choice for us, complete with gas fireplace for cool mornings. Staff was very pleasant and responsive to our needs. Spent four nights and enjoyed everyone.

Total reviews on Trip Advisor exceed 900 but substantially all relate to the previous B&B. Readers should ignore all pre COVID reviews as they relate to Honor Mansion that was a warm Bed and Breakfast inn at the same location. Gone are the daily cookies, scones, wine tastings, afternoon snacks, welcome gifts, turndown service and warm family atmosphere. Honor Mansion sold in 2020. The facility was renovated before emerging as a boutique hotel and potentially an event center branded as The Ruse. ||The facility has six Pickleball courts, swimming pool, hot tub and a large shaped putting green. They have high quality construction and are well maintained. Daily individually prepared breakfast is included. Staff is friendly. Street appearance is the same Victorian design as Honor Mansion that fits with the neighborhood but underneath it is a contemporary sterile atmosphere and perhaps that is part of the ruse. ||We spent five nights and enjoyed the stay. It's not bad; it's just different. ||Shoppers should be aware that the total cost is about 25% higher than the stated rate due to fees and taxes.

Loved the stay. If you’re looking for something that gives you the option to spend time in the town or back at the hotel, without getting bored or feeling constrained, this is the place. The newly renovated hotel and grounds feel really upmarket. We loved everything from the pool, jacuzzi, putting course and pickle ball. I really didn’t want to leave but I’ll probably be back.

Where do you start? The grounds are spectacular, the rooms are beautiful, the breakfast is amazing, and you're in the wine country. The concierge gave us wonderful recommendations for dinner and for the local activities in the area. Could not have asked for a more wonderful place to stay

Lovely setting, fun, low-key activities, the most comfortable bed ever, with a delicious and inventive breakfast. This, our first visit, was just a one-night stay. We'll be back!

Really cool and fun weekend! King room in main building was very clean and modern and everything seems to be brand new. We played pickle ball and bocce after breakfast on their courts before heading out for our winery visits, next time hopefully the pool and hot tub (weather was still too cool for me in early April). Staff was super friendly and helpful- they let our scheduled wineries know we were coming, offered extra cold water to take with us, and just very welcoming overall. Breakfast included every morning was excellent- personally made by the on-site chef - even my foodie husband thought it was great. A five minute drive to dinner in downtown Healdsburg, and close to wineries we were visiting. Quiet at night. Loved our anniversary long weekend!

We had an amazing stay here. The room was excellent the putting and pickleball were great. All the staff were super friendly including arranging bikes hire for us before we arrived through the concierge which they had delivered to the hotel ready for our arrival. Craig and his wife created a great breakfast for us and also spent a lot of time with us telling us about Healdsburg and San Francisco. Truely an exceptional place to staff with fantastic friendly staff.
