HIGHLY recommend. My breakfast at The Rose Establishment was one of the best I've ever had. The brunch bowl (pictured) was maybe the best breakfast dish I've ever had. The cinnamon roll with apple jam was a great twist on a classic. The coffee was so good. And the staff & service were top-notch - nice, helpful, attentive. It was a little on the expensive side to eat here - close to $30 all in. But it was *well worth it.*
The food was pretty good, I had never had Turkish eggs before, so I'm not sure if it was authentic, but was indulgent. The drinks also tasted as good as they looked. Everything was a little overpriced though, the plain biscuit we ordered was about $8.
This place has really good coffee and pastries. Their breakfast is good, but their portions are small. The place itself is so nice, I really want to try the rest of their menu.
Excellent breakfast spot. I had Turkish eggs, just tasted fantastic. Great tasting coffee too. Don’t miss stopping by at this place. Also, relaxed atmosphere, a lot of place to sit. So, likely you will not bw rushed to eat and go!
Absolutely wild experience. Their biscuits were burnt on the bottom, had one slice of bacon on it, and a really spicy red sauce on both halves… I immediately reached for the drinks I ordered but their drinks are so spiced, I got the chai and golden milk, both were intolerable and made my mouth burn further. Don’t worry though, the cups spill anytime you tilt them 0.1 of a degree, and luckily my outfit doesn’t have tastebuds. There is also the service fee that others talked about, our $36.50 meal turned to $52… FIFTY TWO DOLLARS. I would love to know what service they’re charging for… was it handing me the sign to go take to my own table, calling my name for me to go get my own drinks, fussing at us for holding the door open when standing in line, OR bussing my own table? There’s also no wifi as others have stated- the whole place is so unwelcoming. I’m really sad about having to leave a bad review… and had plenty of time on the walk to my car, blocks away because they literally have 2 car spots of parking, to think about the poor experience and how much my throat and mouth burned.
Cute little cafe, ruined by so many things. Ultimately my biggest gripe is hiding fees and asking for additional tips. Other than that I’m not particularly impressed by the their tea. I would describe their tea as flavorless but also spicy and their golden milk has a strong spicy turmeric taste. It wouldn’t be a huge deal if their tea wasn’t $5+ per cup. Their sandwiches are $13+ and honestly not worth it either. Pros: -lovely looking cafe -employees are polite -lots of seating inside and outside -lots of pastry options Cons: -don’t tell you about the 18% service fee added onto your bill and then ask for a tip as well -their teas are literally spicy, expensive, and they do the bare minimum to brew tea with the ingredient being poorly mixed -the wait time when I went here was about 30 minutes just to order -they insist on having their doors closed while you are waiting in line so part of your wait is out in the cold during winter months -cafe is unclean and floor look like they haven’t seen a broom for some time (they do get a lot of foot traffic so it’s possible it does just get dirty really fast but I did come here an hour after they opened) -cafe is incredibly loud due to the open concept of having a kitchen with no walls (which if you’re into that then it’s a pro) and you hear dishes clanking constantly. -breakfast sand-which wasn’t bad but it was burnt and was also spicy just like everything else Overall, I wouldn’t spend money here again.I highly suggest you find a different cafe or make your own food at home as you’ll have better results and experiences.
I look for good coffee everywhere I go. Rarely do I find a place with the attention to detail I found here. They serve single origin espresso, and all of their espresso drinks are balanced with expertise. The best iced latte I've ever tried, the most unique and interesting single origin espresso I've found in a coffee shop, and a cappuccino that I could drink for the rest of my life. The food is pricey, but we'll worth it. The biscuit in my breakfast sandwhich was artisinal quality, and the salad dressing was delicate and intentional. Well worth the price, and absolutely worth the trip if you're looking for a world class café experience. Thanks!!!
It was good but not great. The food portions were kind of small, and very expensive. For a latte and an entree I paid $30. (Food pictured.) I understand they’re a coffee shop for the main part though - so I will give them that. However, if you are ordering food, also keep in mind that it takes quite a while before it gets to you. My friend ordered a breakfast bowl and it took 30 minutes to get to us. The coffee came out very quick though! Staff was very friendly, but we tried to order another coffee to-go and they didn’t have any because they were closing in the next 45 minutes. Oh! And I don’t think they have air conditioning. It was extremely hot.
