This was a great experience. The stage is huge for a venue this size. You could accommodate a large band easily. The lights and sound are great. They have good seating. The bar is stocked and they've got your favorites from Cavendish Brewery. Plus they a shot called an Applesauce Shot - don't knock it until it's knocked you. We went to see The Graveyard Boulevard and had a really good time. I'd like to see some of my favorite local Charlotte bands come over and play. Would be nice to drive less than 35 minutes for once!
Atmosphere is nice here the Rooster 🐓 Michael goes above and beyond to give Gaston County a place to socialize with friends, enjoy live bands of all genres, hear crazy stories from comedians and much more. I've had many memorable experiences here.
I didn't have any food or services directly from the rooster. But I was there for the brewstock festival and I really enjoyed my time.
Highly recommend bar and night club. Very cool owners,quality sound system for live bands and super easy to load in and out for bands. If I could give 6 stars I most definitely would. Thanx to The Rooster we have a venue that will last for ages! Cronic Disorder loves you \M/
They had two really good bands there. I don't remember the names but one did Red Hot chili peppers and the other one did sublime and they were really good. The owner was very nice. It was a good time
A cool spot, definitely great sound & lighting. The place is top-notch and a cool spot to play or see live bands. The staff was extremely accommodating for myself being a photographer and helped out if anything was needed. Definitely would see a show there or recommend it to one of my clients/friends to book a gig there!!! A+ staff makes a world of difference! Thanks guys!
What a cool place! Michael takes a lot of pride in what he has built and rightfully so. This place has such a cool vibe. We went on Wednesday open mic night. Had an absolute blast. This place literally has something special planned for every night of the week, so check the schedule regularly. For now Wednesdays have my vote, and I'll be there every chance I can.
Great local live music and art venue. Local ownership, great staff, great mix of events that engage the community. They do not serve food but there is usually at least 1 food truck out front. Would be nice to have more variety but the venue has no control over that aspect. Highly recommended if you want live music and/or art and marketplace events.

I am so excited and pleasantly pleased to find such a tasty vegetarian location. The dill potato soup, as seen in the picture was wonderful and not heavily laden with potatoes. I had the vegetarian wrap and absolutely loved the brussel sprout sprout
Clean restaurant, amazing people, and delicious food! I love the atmosphere here with the spacious outdoor seating. This is one of my favorite restaurants to eat at! I often order the loaded fries and nachos, but everything I've eaten at Soul Miner

Large servings of food at a fair price. The food was good and the service was prompt and friendly. The neon on brick gave a cool ambiance in the relatively small space. We will return to eat here again.
