The Rock Wood Fired Pizza - Restaurant in Puyallup - 4301 S Meridian, USA

Came in a few days after Christmas for a family lunch. Called ahead and was seated immediately when we arrived. Was so excited to get a bucket and a jello shot. Our food was amazing, and just as we've had it on the past. We were a large group, and while the restaurant was pretty empty, we felt our waitress was a little short with us and seemed a little frustrated. I called ahead to make sure they could handle us, and we even told her we were in no hurry and tried to eleviate her stress, so not sure why she acted that way towards us. Will definitely be back.

take out order... I don't know how you all managed it, but you gave me a pizza with a very very very ahem... done (black) crust, but the cheese was not melted and the sauce is not even warm. I've been here so very many times over the years and never had a problem. Does take out does not get the same attention to detail? The salad was a huge disappointment (see photos... first photo is from the menu and what the salad normally looks like... the second is what I got) Certainly was not looking for a box of Arugula. Lastly, we got a basket of fries to share... PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE line your carry-out boxes with foil. We opened the fries, and they were mashed potatoes from the sweating in the cardboard box. This was a bad experience, and I'm conflicted... I want to raise a stink about it, but usually, you all are great. Please do better.

The Rock Wood Fired Pizza is is great the service was great the waitress was so nice and didn’t have to ask for more drinks she just had them ready. The food was great 10/10 will come back and tell everyone to visit.

Stopped in today about 3pm. Place was empty as a ghost town. We were seated in the bar and given menus the server told us she'd be with us in moment. As moments passed by we noticed the County Inspection report. It was posted on a door on the North side if the restaraunt, Not the door near the parking lot where we entered. We saw the yellow OK sign..the one with the raised eyebrow and smirk. So we took the opportunity to leave. No smile.no sale.

Been to this location a handful of times. They were in the past though, ie, 4 maybe 5 years ago. Food for the most part is pretty good. This time I get my pizza with a tomato end on it! Who does that? Service is absolutely horrible! Greeted by a host that's more concerned about his hair then the customers. The servers don't have a clue on how to check on their customers. For what you're paying for you should totally get way better food and service! Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else so you avoid the frustrations....

Good pizza, but not the best, minor mess up with the custom toppings, but not enough to want to send anything back and was still tasty. Like the theme. Okay priced for what it is. Staff was all nice. I like all the rock music themed names of items haha. Quick to get seated. Bucket drinks are more novelty than decently priced for what they are and how much ice was in the bucket, but they let me take the bucket which was cool. Been befor and will go back again.

Alexis was the best waitress and she just started last week! Thank you for amazing service and helping make my husband’s 40th party memorable! You are amazing! The Rock was awesome they let me schedule a party of 20 plus only two day’s notice! Thank you for amazing food and service!
