When a car repair unexpectedly kept us in Natchez beyond our intended stay, we found ourselves stranded at the car repair shop in the evening with no accommodations or transportation. We found the Riverboat Bed + Breakfast online and were pleased to see great reviews. I called the number, hoping to find that they would have availability for us. Marybeth, the owner and host, answered and was so kind and accommodating. When she heard about our situation she even insisted that it was no trouble to pick us up at the car repair shop. She was there within 5 minutes, whisking us and our luggage to her beautiful B+B. Our stay was immensely comfortable. The house is gorgeous, the beds are comfortable, the location is perfect, the breakfast is delicious, and Marybeth is a truly wonderful, one-of-a-kind host and person… and a top notch cook!! Marybeth and her Riverboat Bed + Breakfast turned a stressful ordeal into the highlight of our vacation. We loved her dog, too!

The Riverboat Bed and Breakfast is a great place to find yourself in total bliss. From the beckoning porches with rocking chairs, to the comfortable beds that help you slumber into a state of easiness and sublime contentment. Marybeth your host will spoil you by making sure that you have what you need before you even ask for it. The breakfast is spectacularly delicious and she caters to my sensitive palate with eggs, bacon, and fruit. She tells great stories of her family if you ask her and finding out about her great grandfather being a riverboat captain was just icing on the cake and had us history buffs happy about the artifacts and stories about Natchez high cotton days. We met a couple from the Netherlands that were so interesting, an amusing couple from Baton Rouge, and a couple from England that held lively conversation and we shared stories and favorite things to do and eat in Natchez. My husband and I enjoyed a weekend stay and found lots of historical homes to visit, great food, lively jazz music, and great walks along the Mississippi! Thanks Marybeth--We will be back soon! Please hug the Stinkpot for us!

Very welcoming bed and breakfast. Mine and my husband's first time staying at one and we enjoyed it! The hostess was wonderfully kind and helpful. We were on our way to Natchez from New Orleans and got caught in horrible weather where trees were blocking roads so we were going to check in rather late (roughly 11pm). The hostess was kind enough to send us walkthrough pictures on how to access and get into our room even at such a late hour, which we found VERY helpful. Breakfast was yummy! We had pancakes, scrambled eggs, coffee and bacon. Only one of the other rooms was booked and we all had a nice morning chat over breakfast. If we're ever in the area again we would love to stop here again! Thank you!

Cozy historic family home in a great location. Marybeth was wonderful to talk to and book with. She gave us great food recommendations, shared her family's river boat history, and she made us feel welcome. Stayed on the first floor and the room and bed were very comfortable. Delicious breakfast with farm-fresh eggs and homemade jam.

We had a lovely room and surprisingly the entire house to ourselves! The hostess was lovely and almost the entire breakfast was homemade to include the jams and scrambled eggs from her own chickens. The hostess gave us a map of the area along with her recommendations for dinner, which were on the riverfront. Our final choice was excellent!

Mary Beth made our stay perfect with her warm, welcoming personality. We felt like we had all been friends forever. Her little B&B felt like home. We stayed two nights. First night met a nice couple from Germany. Second night, we enjoyed having the place to ourselves. Lovely glass of wine on the beautiful front porch, then relaxing in the house itself. Gorgeously furnished from another era. We are San Diegans and fell in love with Natchez and Mary Beth’s B&B.

The Riverboat was the perfect place to be the anchor for our Natchez trip. This wonderful old ( 1868 ) home was so comfortable & welcoming. The pictures reflected the history of the owners family from the original Natchez riverboat captain to the present host Marybeth. While steeped in history in Natchez and in the B&B we also had all the modern amenities we needed. A perfect combo! We recommend The Riverboat highly!! Marybeth, thank you for your warmth & kindness to us. We loved it all!

This B&B dates from the 19th century and has been continuously owned by the same family. There are 3 bedrooms, each with private bathrooms. It is centrally located with a 3 minute walk to the river bluff and a 10 minute walk to the Under the Hill area. Free off-street parking at the rear of the property. Our room was scrupulously clean and included a lovely cooked breakfast. The host Marybeth Peck is simply lovely and did everything she could to make us feel welcome.||p.s. be sure to visit The Corner Bar 20 yards down the street - it is a Cheers-like local bar with great characters.
