The Ritz never disappoints and this location more than lives up to that. Rooms are great, comfortable, newly decorated, outstanding mattresses and spotless. The people that work there are outstanding.....friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and go out of their way to accommodate you. The restaurant we ate at the most was in the hotel, Wyld, and the meals we ate there were some of the best we've had in years. The level of service is great. The spa is something you should visit, really outstanding and the daily guided hikes are something you don't want to miss. Looking forward to our next visit!!

The Ritz in Avon is definitely a Colorado classic worth seeing . This was our second time visiting this magnificent property . It is situated in the mountains with spectacular views . The staff is excellent and very friendly . The property is well kept. The lobby is an example of what a Colorado living room would look like - cozy , rustic and chic . |You can literally walk out of the outside area and hike straight up the mountain . Bring water and a rain poncho for our normal Colorado weather . We live in Denver, so it is a quick trip for us . The gym is awesome and spa is beautiful. My gym rat of a husband said that it was one of the best hotel gyms - and he travels all over the world .||Areas for improvement:|1) more lunch menu options -healthier foods |2) breakfast buffet could use a little expanding - more salads and protein shakes |3) Better hiking maps ||Overall a lovely get away

Beautiful location! Service was great! The club lounge is the only way to enjoy the resort. The staff (Chase and Mac) and food in the club lounge were wonderful. The prices and the food at the restaurant bar outside were terrible. $24 for a watered down margarita! The service was nice and the rooms were nice except the temperature would not go below 70 degrees and we had the hotel check it out and they said it doesn't go lower, so if you want to sleep cool, these rooms are not for you. It was a hot 84 degrees and the pool was so crowded with kids, we were unable to relax and enjoy the pool. There should be adult pool time at a resort like this . The staff around the pool ignored you unless you stood up and waived your arms to get attention. One evening the kids were running across the tables outside and removing the cushions from the lounge chairs and taking them to the sand pit. No one did anything. The power went out for over an hour the hottest day, and we had to walk up the stairs (4 flights) to our dark room. For a nice 5 star resort, we were very disappointed. The Ritz in Half Moon Bay and New Orleans are nicer.

Service great. Stayed 5 nights in Club Level. Service exceptional throughout the property, and great rooms and facilities. Surprising issues with food quality. Very poor throughout, even in Club Lounge, with extensive use of frozen, processed products. Frozen beef patties, frozen pizzas, frozen chicken tenders… really startling to see at a Ritz Carlton.

I am both a Ritz Carlton Residences owner & a Bonvoy Ambassador, so I have had the pleasure of visiting many luxury resorts around the world. The RC Bachelor Gulch will not disappoint. |In fact, the property, setting & staff are all top shelf…and Dan D the GM sets the standard for exceptional / personalized service. |I was there with my wife, 3 kids, spouses and 8 grandkids (ages 2 months to 9 years) for my wife’s 60th birthday celebration. It was the perfect meeting place as we had people coming from both NY & CA with a broad age range. The staff throughout could not be any nicer, friendlier or more attentive…and we are a large / active group. |We decided to fly into Denver and do the 2.5 hr drive rather than making flight connections. It worked out well as it was nice to have rental cars to be able to enjoy everything on property (pool, trails, restaurants / lounges, outdoor bar & activities)…and also visit local attractions. (Gondola up mountain / lunch @ Beaver Creek, Alpine slide @Vail, local restaurants…). |Thanks to the entire team @RCBG for making our family celebration so special. |All the best, Ed O

This was an unexpected single night stay while we waiting for our timeshare in Beaver Creek to be ready and wow, what an amazing 24 hours!||Check In:||Kelvin(I believe that was his name) was so warm and welcoming us to the property, explaining the benefits, giving us a rundown of the amenities, and answering all our questions. Great recognition of status and offered us s’mores right away. Yum!||Pool/Bar staff:||Even though we stayed in off-season, the property was still very well staffed and when we inquired about ordering food/drinks by the pool, immediately helpful. Both gentlemen who helped us were very prompt, friendly, and gave us a very pleasurable afternoon. The pool also was a fantastic temperature for Memorial Day and amble space all around.||Wyld dinner:||Wow! Does it help that we basically had the restaurant to ourselves? Partially(haha), but the staff was beyond amazing! Courtney(our server) guided us on what we should pick, wonderful recommendations for our week in Beaver Creek, and packed all our leftovers flawlessly. The preparation of the Duck carnitas and being shredded by the chef was chefs kiss. Very well|deserving of a Michelin guide rating.||Suite:||Luckily, we were able to use a SNA that got accepted before our stay and the executive king suite was beautiful. We almost opted for another room but after seeing it, we realized the first one was more to our liking. Warm, spacious, and two bathrooms!? We wanted to move in haha.||Staff:||Everyone we encountered at the property was beyond friendly. Some RCs you can feel the staff is checking boxes to hit certain KPIs, but not here. You could feel how genuinely wanted to help and chat.||From the amazing checkin, food & beverage service, and a fond farewell when checking out…we can’t wait to come back!

We utilized the services of Photography Concierge with Chris Beeson. Chris was absolutely outstanding to work with. He managed a large variety of photos with a multigenerational family of 8 as well as two good sized dogs. We were extremely pleased with the resulting photo and have selected a number of them. Chris guided us through the review and order process and was always responsive when we had follow up questions via email. We highly recommend Chris Beeson at the Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch for your professional photography session!!

Beautiful property, with gorgeous views. Disappointing and troublesome treatment while on a discounted friends and family room rate. Fantastic service at the WYLD bar and superior experience with valet. However, front desk service unfortunately has been extremely unsatisfactory on two visits. I am a Titanium Elite member for Marriott and fortunately used a discounted rate. This property will not honor Bonvoy Elite benefits and this is the only property I've ever encountered that doesn't give EVERY guest the same level of service. We requested a late checkout when the hotel was at 50% occupancy and were told it would not be honored due to the room rate. I've visited many luxury properties including the St Regis in Aspen recently. None differentiate the service level and amenities other than this one. We won't be back, as there are many other beautiful options in the area.
