The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean. Also the hotel is dog friendly which is cool.
On the down side the gap between the entry way door and the the floor was huge and allowed every small sound in the hallway being completely audible in the room.
It also makes me worried about safety. Someone could easily reach a hanger through the bottom and open the door.
The pool lights were insane and unnecessary. We would have got to the hot tub but I was so stressed about the constant flashing lights.
There was a game room advertised but where the game room used to be is now an office. ):
Also the water pressure was terrible.
The ridge line hotel is arguably one of the best places to stay when visiting the Rocky Mountains. Our flight was delayed by 5 hours to Denver and by the time we get to Estes park, it was 12:00 Mountain time. Regardless, the hotel check in was quick, easy and we were in bed by no time. Located 20 min of the bear lake corridor entrance and 5 min to downtown, the location of the hotel is spot on. The rooms were clean, the lobby was well decorated and had a nice ambiance. In the evening, the hotel had complementary s’mores and bonfires in the courtyard for guests to enjoy. Breakfast was fresh and the views are gorgeous! Amazing place!
The hotel had a good location and was reasonable. The staff was friendly but sometimes a little clueless but it didn't matter very much. The breakfasts were good. During the last 2 days of our stay, we felt someone was playing little tricks on us, because a couple of little things went missing. I knew we didn't forget them at home because we used them during the trip and they never left the hotel room. One day our room didn't get cleaned, even though someone knocked on our door to ask if we wanted cleaning service. We said yes and we would be leaving in15 minutes. No one returned to clean the room. It's too bad because up until the last couole of days, we were quite satisfied with the hotel.
Most of the hotels in the area are ~2 stars. This hotel was a 3-star and it exceeded my expectations. The room was smaller than expected but clean and nice looking. Enjoyed the fresh plain and flavored water as well as Starbucks coffee available for free in the lobby. It was nice to see an arcade (I haven't played Pac-Man in years.) Breakfasts included the standard continental breakfast fare. The fire pits were very nice, however, I wish they were either more secluded or overlooked something besides the parking lot. If I visit Estes Park I would definitely stay here again.
Amazing hidden gem! We went up to Estes for a concert at the Stanley. Some friends of ours stayed there ( in a suite) and we chose the Ridgeline 1. Because it is economical and 2. It included breakfast.
Let me just say that our room was WAYYY nicer and 1/4 of the price. The hotel is clean, the people are friendly, and they offer so many unexpected extras such as s'mores kits, a 24 game room (think pool tables, ping pong and Pac Man).
We stayed in the poolside room and what a cool concept/design. Our room opened up to a balcony that overlooked the indoor pool. I'm 45 and I was impressed 😂.
While this trip was with friends, I would 100% come back and stay here with my teenagers. It's perfect for families, business, traveling with friends, all of it. Highly recommend!!!
I don't know where to start. We decided to cut our stay short and lose on the money rather than spend another night at the hotel.
Service from people who were not the front desk gentlemen left much to be desired. We first had an incident with an employee that was an honest mistake and a misunderstanding. I apologized to the employee immediately and assumed that that would be the end of it. This morning, when I saw the same employee they made a snippy remark and were incredibly dismissive of me when I asked a question.
The other aspect that made me a little dissatisfied was a lack of communication. I informed the front desk that I had a dog and signed all the documents. Our dog barked for about 1 minute at 750ish am yesterday when we were about to leave for breakfast so we went back and brought him with us. Our dog did not bark at any other time. Later in the day, at about 3pm, I noticed a "bark deterrent" on our door set to high. There was no note, no attempt at a phone call or any contact made. I know they did not try, because the bark deterrent had been placed on my door while I was in the room. I asked the housekeeping staff and they said "they couldn't tell me, and to ask the front desk". I did and all they could say was "it's to calm them down".
This hotel also advertises itself as pet friendly, but they don't tell you beforehand that you need to bring your dog's kennel.
While the views are nice and the location is decent, the lack of clear communication and the presence of snippy and rude employees makes it impossible for me to give this place a good review.
We got into town late on a Saturday night and The Ridgeline was one of the few places available. We're so glad we stumbled upon this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were modern and clean. They thought of everything, hiking sticks and binoculars for use in the rooms, s'mores kits and fire pits outside, coffee and flavored water machine and excellent breakfast. We will definitely return in the future.
The Ridgeline Hotel at Estes Park is definately one of the upper echelon hotels at the front door of the Rocky Mountain National Park!
The lobby is very quaint and charming with a gas fireplace and plenty of places to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee and either read or converse with family and/or friends.
There is a restaurant and bar off the lobby with enough tables but not too many to cause it to lose its quaint atmosphere. There are several TVs located around the bar to watch a sporting event while enjoying your favorite adult beverage!
There is a heated indoor pool and hot tub that is open until 11:00pm.
The hall ways are nicely decorated with various pictures of Estes Park and of the National Park.
The rooms are rather large and luxurious, complete with wide screen TV and large bathroom.
This is a great place to treat yourself!

A great experience all around especially the service. A five rating doesn't seem high enough especially Bridgette at the front desk. Our room with fireplace was a special treat. Breakfast was good also.

Phenomenal view on a clear day. Quiet windy as should be expected, so protect your hats from flying away. Keep eyes open for mountain goats and elks. Last time we had a coyote jump in front of our car in pursuit of prey. The road up to this overlook
Another of the beautiful overlooks of the Trail ridge rd. This one looks at the valley that is between the trail ridge rd and the fall river road to which the fall river flows from the receding glaciers of the RMNP. Has a slightly larger parking lot
