1st time dining here, we enjoyed the food and atmosphere. We dined on gameday, so the TV's were a plus for my husband lol. He enjoyed the chicken quesadilla, a little spicy but seasoned to perfection. My bestie enjoyed a burger with tots. She loved it, and I tried the Peruvian beef over fries.. absolutely delicious! A friend recommended this restaurant after dining here, following our bonus wedding reception downstairs from the restaurant. We'll definitely dine here again!

Jake was our server and he made us feel at home. My parents were with us and so was our little boy (toddler), and everyone had a great experience. Jake helped us laugh it off when little man got a hold of the balsamic vinaigrette dressing cup and…you know…He also gave us great advice on the menu options and he was spot on with his advice. He was just more than you would expect from such a fun, casual place…super professional. And of course, the food was great, and it’s such a local favorite. Just a fun family kind of environment, with great selections and a good vibe. And thanks Jake for taking care of our family so well!

So me and my cousin Jay went and tried a place we had never been to before and we are so glad we did. This restaurant we went to is called The Ridge Eat & Drink. Guys when I tell you we took a shot in the dark I mean a complete shot in the dark. I have never heard of this place and I have never once heard anyone talk about going here. The only reason I found this place was because I Googled places to eat in Vestavia because we were going to the movies right after. When we first walked in we both instantly thought um we don't belong here... however staff was extremely nice and super helpful. I forgot our waiters name but he did a great job. He came when he needed to and didn't stalk us. He was very helpful with recommendations and we even found out they make all their sauces from scratch. We tried the Cahaba Sauce, BBQ sauce, white sauce, and homemade ranch all very good and unique. I suggest you try them all those were just a few we tried. So let's get to the food. We tried the chili cheese tater tots and as you can see these are not your standard chili cheese tots. The chili was freaking amazing it had the consistency of a sloppy Joe. Like this was a meaty and delicious chili sauce (no it didn't taste like sloppy Joe) the cheese was not what I was expecting to see but was very good and the tater tots themselves were very crispy and delicious! 4 out of 5 The wings I mean I explained the sauce and ranch already so you know lol. 5 out of 5 Pimento cheese grits. Look I'm not a pimento cheese person like at all and maaaaaaaaan them grits hit the spot very cheesy, well seasoned and just chefs kiss. If you are a pimento cheese person and like grits you'll love these. 5 out of 5 The corn dog. No lie we literally got this as a joke because it was 12 inches... I mean a foot long so I said we need to see it. Of course we tasted it. It was a standard corn dog not really missing much could have been better. But yeah 12 INCHES! 3 out of 5 The burgers. My cousin had the blue cheese bacon burger. He claimed it was the best blue cheese bacon burger he has ever had. I had a standard cheese burger. It was very good very juice but in my opinion lacked some seasoning but still good. 4 out of 5 Fries were good and crispy and well seasoned. 5 out of 5. Sauces were a 4.5 out of 5 All in all this place was great I will be back and I want you all to check it out. This place as a whole gets an 8.5 out of 10 from me and more people need to know about it. Go check this place out!

The is a nice, local restaurant on the second floor of the shopping center on Rocky Ridge Road near Publix. It's a bit tucked away, but it's well-worth finding. The have a good assortment of burgers, salads, and sandwiches as well as some great entrees. It feels like a hometown place. The items on the wall celebrate the Vestavia Hills community and schools.

Looks like a dive bar when you walk in, but wow!! That was some of the best bar food I’ve had in awhile. Waitress was awesome, attentive, and gave some great recommendations. Fried pimento cheese balls were 🔥and served with really good homemade ranch dressing. The Spicy Cahaba was juicy, cooked to order and really tasty. Waitress surprised me with onion rings that I wouldn’t have ordered myself but complimented the burger perfectly. They were also juicy and crispy all at the same time. The Jamm Gouda burger was also juicy and flavorful. Collard greens were on point and didn’t need anything additional. Didn’t taste like canned, so you had us fooled if they were. The kids enjoyed their tots and mini corn dogs. Good whiskey selection, and the beer was cold and fresh. Overall a great experience even though they looked slammed when we first went in. Was surprised with the quickness of everything given how busy they were.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND this spot for brunch. They offer a wide variety of delicious dishes, from brunch to dinner. They provide the greatest options to choose from for reasonable prices. Their mimosa and Bloody Mary were on point. Will be returning for lunch/dinner.

One of our favorites! Located in Old Vestavia this locally owned operation has it down. Food and service make for a the best experience. No matter whether you are looking for lunch or dinner, you can not gone wrong!

Small eatery set in the upstairs of a strip mall, they provide decent friendly service, and really good food. We had fried pickles, which did not disappoint. I ordered a salad, which came with a heaping helping of chicken and fries on top of it. My girlfriend ordered a burger with sweet potato fries, The burger was so massive she could only eat half of it. Would definitely come back here again.
