The Ridge - Bar & grill in Chadron - 164 Main St, USA

This is a nice bar right on Main Street with a nice atmosphere and plenty of space to spread out. Although some of the dishes we had were very good, my main dish could have been a lot better. I ordered a 12oz. Ribeye medium well, and when it arrived, it looked medium rare. I sent it back to be cooked a little more, and upon return, I could tell it never left the plate. I wasn't going to send it back again...I have a phobia about that, so I powered through as much as I could. I decided to bring the rest home to cook it myself. There is a before and after pic of the steak... you decide if that's medium well. The salad wasn't too good either. It's finely shredded iceberg lettuce with just cheese, cucumber, and tomatoes. The finely shredded lettuce gave it a soggy texture that just wasn't palatable. On a more positive note, the chips and salsa, as well as the fried pickles were really good. The staff seemed really nice, and I don't blame the server for the food. I think the back of the house just needs a bit more supervision and quality control.

Looked for something to eat before drove home after hiked in Chadron State Park. Found this place and it’s a cool place to eat. The server/bartender is so freaking cool and very nice! The amount of wait time was not bad. I had Dirty Burger with French fries and on tap Blue Moon with an orange slice beer. I was looking around this place as cool as a sport bar.

Great prices, solid food and good beer. Had the chicken strips with honey mustard and onion rings, was all very good. Saw someone get the pizza which looked really good as well. Nice place to stop by for dinner and to watch a game.

I thought it was okay, I mean nothing special to me. My sirloin was a nice thick cut and cooked slightly below medium as ordered. Could definitely use more side choices, especially some veggies. Mostly fried foods but do offer salads and grilled chicken. Bar stools at the tables definitely need to go. Not very comfortable at all. My server Kaylee was attentive and polite. The owner seemed polite and asked how my steak was? For a small town it's a real friendly down to earth atmosphere of locals and regulars.

My Family were in Town to watch Our Son in College play Basketball. We decided to stop here for Dinner. Ended up closing the place down. Because, the environment was awesome and the Staff was magnificent. Actually talk to the Owner (Ron), Who was a pleasure to meet

In Chadron for the weekend for dinner. Walked in the place looks run down and old, a typical dive. Some of the best food I have ever had came from dives. As a party of five we were seated and ordered apps, fried pickles and chips with salsa, both tasty. We the ordered our main course. 2 steaks, a burger, Buffalo chicken salad and shrimp basket. One steak was cooked perfectly, the other was under and returned to be cooked more and came back worse. My burger came, but not what I ordered, they eventually brought the right one. It was delicious. The fries were the best thing we ate. Everyone else meal was satisfactory. Overall the place is decent and food passable. Maybe not being local, I'm being a little harsh. If you are hungry and looking for a place to The Ridge will not blow you away, but you won't leave hungry.

Stopped in from traveling all day and wanted a decent place to sit & eat... this place did not disappoint. The onion rings were the bomb... omg so good! Real mashed potatoes with homemade gravey🤤 Comfortable, rustic atmosphere. Sweet, friendly service. Thank you for a great experience!

Fantastic home cooked food. Homemade hamburger buns, fresh made salsa, hand breaded shrimp, hand patted burgers, and fresh cut fries. Tap beer was cold and crisp. Everything was great. Stuffed mushrooms were worth the wait.
