The Restoration Asheville - Hotel in Asheville - 68 Patton Ave, USA

We loved everything about this hotel except dinner, They have an exceptional dinner menu so we had high expectations for dinner. However the food didn’t match the expectations. This wouldn’t stop me from staying at this hotel again, I may just avoid the restaurant for dinner. Everything else was exceptional. The room was very spacious with a lot of seating and the bed and pillows were so comfortable. It is within walking distance to shops and restaurants which we took advantage of. Overall I wouldn’t hesitate to book this hotel again.

This is the hotel that thinks of everything and goes above and beyond to make your stay as pleasant as possible from the time you arrive till departure. Breakfast basket was delightful and the coffee in the room, superb! I’ve never been in a hotel where the coffee is provided in ziplock packets and specially made for the hotel! The staff was beyond attentive and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. Would definitely recommend this hotel and that says a lot. I am “high maintenance” when it comes to hotels.

Absolutely wonderful service and beautiful property. We stayed in the larger room with a couch and it was fabulous. There’s plenty to do right at the hotel between the restaurant and the arcade downstairs, but you are in a great location to explore the entire city. The place is great, but it was the service that made it exceptional. I couldn’t wait to see what was in our little breakfast picnic each morning. Top quality all around.

Our stay could not have been better. I am considering moving to Asheville and someone told me that if the city welcomes me, listen. If The Restoration is delivering the message, it is loud and clear. ||From the moment we drove up to the moment we left, and every step in between, the customer service was out of this world. The entire staff was welcoming, knowledgeable, kind and happy to help. The library is so quaint and a perfect place to sit, peruse the shelves and decide what to do in Asheville. Of course, we arrived just in time for complimentary wine and cheese.||The room was immaculate, very thoughtfully furnished, a perfect mix of marble and brass fixtures, and a host of complimentary snacks and drinks - some local!||The sweetest touch was the basket of treats outside our door each morning. Just because. That’s right - an adorable basket with a variation of fruit, yogurt, bagels, waffles, syrup and love. There is also a counter near the lobby where you can get customized cold and hot drinks, and pastries.||We had dinner on-site after an exhausting day. The restaurant has beautiful booths, and the bar is the longest I have seen - it’s stunning, really. If you’d like a quick bite, the service is not speedy, but if you’re interested in a leisurely meal in a beautiful setting, this is the place. We happened to be there when there was live music and it was like having dinner with Simon and Garfunkel. Awesome.||How’s that for the impact of a fabulous hotel? Convincing enough for me to move nearby.||We really did feel special the entire stay. Tremendous thanks to everyone at The Restoration.

Rooftop bar & lounge and Draftsman facilities were closed during our visit (Last week of Jan 2024). You have a great hotel property but if the guests cannot enjoy the facilities then it shouldn't advertise as beneficial to the guests. Also, maintenance/quality assurance should pay close attention to the bathroom shower tile grout. Shower bottom corner grout had gaps and black mold. As far as breakfast basket, it's a great idea! But items in the basket needed toaster and/or microwave to heat the food. Microwave in the room is beneficial. The toaster/microwave was only available at the 1st floor lobby area.

If you need to stay in Asheville, North Carolina you need to stay at this hotel. My brother had stayed here and arrived when the kitchen just closed and he asked the staff if they had anything ready or quick he could grab to eat. Not only did they feed him, they re-opened the kitchen for him! During my visit, I ate at the bar which has a great variety of alcohol. The bartender was delightful and gave great recommendations for other restaurants/activities in Asheville for the week. There is a cute little breakfast basket delivered in the morning to your door. I needed something printed to fax and the front desk staff gladly did that. I literally would leave 10 stars if I could!

My husband and I stayed two nights in January for our anniversary. We came in early on Saturday morning after a terrible night at a hotel around the corner. From the moment we walked into the hotel we felt at home. We were greeted by Caley who went out of her way to make us feel special and taken care of. She upgraded us to a beautiful room and sent us up a bottle of champagne. She even let us check in at 10 am so we could get some rest after our not so great night at the previous hotel. Every staff member we came across was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The bar/restaurant downstairs has a pool table, shuffle board, arcade and pinball games that are free to patrons. We had the best time here and will definitely be back next time we come into town.

Probably our favorite hotel in Asheville so far, after staying at several other ones in the Downtown Asheville over the last year! Excellent / large rooms, great decor everywhere, very clean, friendly staff, top amenities (go to the Draftsman on the lower level) and great location. Would definitiely recommend.
