I cannot say enough wonderful things about The Resplendent Crow and its owner Sucheta! Forever grateful to them and I am absolutely obsessed with my new dresser! I had been wanting a custom piece from them for almost 3 years and finally found the right one at the right time and went for it. Every step of the way Sucheta kept me informed and helped me make decisions. When I was looking for a specific color that wasn't one from her regular colors, she had my color made. When I went back and forth about what hardware to get, she took photos to help me decide. When I had to deal with delivery requirements from my building, she helped me get the paperwork I needed in time. And she never seemed frustrated by my countless emails of questions, just helped me find answers. Can some of the pieces be expensive? Yes, if you, like me, are used to buying Ikea rubbish. But the RC's pieces are forever furniture and no more expensive than any other quality furniture place. And they are a million times more unique and available in the most fabulous colors! (Which is so rare!! I can't tell you how hard it is to find colorful, quality furniture.) Almir, the delivery guy, (who was also absolutely wonderful!) jokingly said he'll probably see me again sometime, bc so many people once they've had one furniture piece made, love it so much that they get another. And he's absolutely right! The dresser I got is so unique and so gorgeous, it makes some of my other furniture look lame haha. So, I'm already wanting to get another! Now, I just need to get a place big enough to keep all my RC furniture.

My husband and I found a piece at a local antique mall. We knew we wanted to change the look, but had never heard of lacquer at that point. I stumbled upon The Resplendent Crow on Instagram. After watching Instagram stories and seeing how thorough their processes are, I knew I wanted them to lacquer our piece. Additionally, our piece was missing some fretwork. The Resplendent Crow team has true craftsman that were able to recreate these details. They set off the piece. The transformation is incredible! Sucheta was very responsive. I was shocked by how quickly they turned this piece around. They picked up our piece on August 24th and delivered it on October 8th. The shipping team was great as well. We highly recommend The Resplendent Crow!

Sucheta and her amazing team have lacquered some gorgeous furniture for our new apartment! They took items I found in thrift stores and Home Depot and totally transformed them into custom gems. I also purchased a dresser from her Etsy shop and it was delivered the next day! (It helps to live close to The Resplendent Crow’s shop!) They’re even fixing a mirror for me that got busted en route from eBay, to be lacquered a rooster red. If you’re thinking about chalk painting that garage sale “find” just DON’T. Call this shop instead.

Just revived my delivery today, absolutely stunning! Love, love, love the orange color and quality. I will purchase another piece from Sucheta. Great customer service. It came with a care kit and instructions as well. Highly, highly recommend!

My experience working with Sucheta has been a delightful and positive one. From selecting the colors of the various pieces to arranging delivery. The pieces are stunning. I bought a China cabinet, oversized night tables, and a credenza. The Ruby on my credenza took my breath away, the China cabinet is white and she surprised me with a magnificent wall paper and lights with remote control. For the nigh tables I chose olive and I’m happy that i did, they are gorgeous. This awesome experience has me waiting for a few more pieces. Thank you for the caring you’ve shown me; plus the delivery guys were as professional as they get. Overall I’m 100% satisfied. Happy, happy!

I've bought a few pieces from Resplendent Crow and sold her a few pieces over the years, as I'm local. I'm also critical as my husband does this kind of refinishing/painting for a living (but is swamped and has no personal spray booth). The first piece I bought finished I wasn't too happy with, but I live with it. I'd love to have the imperfections touched up. The most recent pieces are much better. I will say that I take the brass hardware to be refinished myself as it's not always great, and some of it seems painted. Also, the markup between buying these pieces and what they sell for is huge. This is a lucrative business, although I know a lot of prep work goes into some pieces but she's banking on the aesthetic. Picking up at the warehouse is a bit chaotic, as none of the employees really speak English (luckily I speak Spanish!) Getting a hold of Sucheta can be tricky as she's very busy (I'm still waiting on a chair that wasn't ready). All that said, people love her work and I see why. I just wish my husband had such a killer spray booth and we could do it ourselves with Fine Paints of Europe paint, which I prefer over lacquer.

I absolutely love my chest of drawers! I was looking for a green piece for my bedroom and couldn't find one that I liked. The communication was great and Sucheta was always responsive in a timely manner. She was clear about what I should expect regarding delivery. The delivery driver was also great with communication and a very nice guy. This is actually my second purchase as mom has a smaller dresser from here too, very classy cute - similar positive experience. Quality work. Highly recommended and worth every penny.

Recently received my 2nd piece of furniture from Sucheta at Resplendent Crow. I love that Sucheta uses solid, well-crafted pieces, and her shop's artistry is excellent. This piece is flawless and beautiful like the first. Sucheta was responsive to questions, quick to deliver, and kind enough to send me touch up paint for the first piece, which was nicked by my daughter.
