The Republic Grille - American restaurant in The Woodlands - 4775 W Panther Creek Dr #490, USA

We had salads and they were all delicious. Nice selection of dressings. We definitely cleaned our plates. Our son had the lasagna, he also enjoyed it. The Republic Mule I had with my Greek salad was very tasty. We want to come again and try other meals from the menu.

Great experience overall. Even though restaurants looked packed we got a table in a few minutes. Food came pretty quick as well give how busy it was. Mac and Cheese bites was my favourite!! Cocktails tasted great and burger was above average but Chicken steak meat had chewy texture to it. I would definitely go back to try their other dishes.

This is one of The Woodland's best. It's just a lot of American southern/Cajun/lunch faire but it was all well executed and at an excellent price to boot. The chicken fried steak and bacon jalapeno Mac n cheese was great. For desert they had a made in house cheese cake which really impressed me. Service is TOP NOTCH.

A must try! A great variety of food to choose from. We enjoyed the spinach and artichoke dip. The chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and green beans were delicious. Gumbo soup is wonderful. Steak and avocado salad was super good! Our waiter Chris was so nice and all his recommendations were perfect!

We picked this restaurant on a whim and wow i am so glad we did. The food was amazing, the drinks were amazing, and the service was amazing! The trg salad and top chop was the best food wed ever had. We got a raspberry martini and a strawberry lemon drop and courtney k made them so delicious and was so nice, talkative at the bar and informational! She really made our night amazing. Carlos was also great and checked on us. We will definitely make this a place to come back to for shows!

I was told to come try the gumbo here. It was good. It was a large bowl. It had a rich dark roux with a good flavor. To be honest, I took it home and ate the rest a few days later. I think it tasted even better the second time. It's like it had to to bind and gel together. I highly recommend the gumbo here. It's good.

Republic Grill - Not as Good as it used to be It had been a while since our last visit to Republic Grill, so the two of us opted to try them again for a nice lunch. While the service was friendly and attentive, the food left a little to be desired. I ordered the fish and chips lunch. It came with three heavily breaded strips of fish. While the outside of the breading was fully-cooked and crispy, the breading was so thick that the inside portion was still very doughy and un-cooked. I also ordered their “famous” onion rings, only to have french fries delivered instead. I mentioned this to the waiter and she came back a few minutes later with an order of onion rings. However, the rings were luke-warm, at best, and lacking any flavor. Overall, I had expected more from this place based on my previous experiences and left a bit disappointed in this visit.

This place definitely lives up to all of the ratings. The atmosphere is very cozy, the service is amazing, the prices are reasonable, and the food is fantastic! Our server; Kristie, was extremely attentive and very friendly. This was our very first time here and we will definitely come back. She made the experience phenomenal! The icing on the cake was that the manager Corey, came out and introduced himself. He personally thanked us for coming and very made us feel appreciated for coming to his establishment. Our hard earned dollar is well spent and truly appreciated in this establishment.
