The Red Dog Saloon - Bar in Pioneertown - 53539 Mane St, USA

Good spot to stop after visiting Pioneertown. We didn’t really go inside so I can’t rate the bar service. But, the tacos and nachos were great. The atmosphere outside was good. The day we went, a music artist came down from LA and was on the patio singing. I can imagine it being a good spot for residents of JT. We ate under some awning which kept the sun away some.

So much fun. Such a great environment and services was fast. Food was really good. Definitely worth order and trying everything on menu.

We were trying to find a good spot for tacos, and we loved everything about this place! Our bartender Kim was super sweet and very friendly (thank you for taking care of us). We can’t wait to come back.

While I didn't have the chance to eat or drink, The Red Dog Saloon has an awesome ambiance and a beautiful setting. The atmosphere alone makes it worth a visit.

Great atmosphere, and honestly one of the best Brisket Taco I've ever had. Totally legit Street Corn in a awesome desert saloon.

Great atmosphere, lovely people, excellent food. Discount if you're staying at the motel. They do breakfast too and bloody Mary's too!!

What a great little find! My husband and I live in Palm Springs and took his family to Pioneertown on the Monday following Mother's Day on our way to Jashua Tree. We weren't expecting much to be open, but we were pleasantly surprised that there were quite a number of cute shops and the Red Dog Saloon open and well staffed. We ate lunch at The Saloon, enjoying the music. They had a small selection of tasty, well-priced Mexican food available and various cocktail and beer offerings. My husband and I thought it would definitely be fun to bring friends back here on a future evening for a themed cowboy night. Asking the management, they said weekends may close around 11pm-ish and weekdays last call is probably around 9:45pm-ish. They have overflow from Pappy and Harriet's and a good crowd sometimes, especially when they have live bands. The manager said the best place to find out about their upcoming events is their social media. We will do so and be back!!

I love this place. It is a must when I am in the area, and even worth a trip just to go for the experience. The tacos aren't your run of the mill every day tacos, they are more like high end places I have had in LA, NYC, and San Diego. The place has lots of outdoor seating and even heaters. I have seen people DJing vinyl, but also just dropped in for take out and someone was playing country covers, and it wasn't too loud, really just the right volume. I also recommend it for photo ops.
