My wife's favorite new Mexican place! I should mention my wife is Mexican ;) the service was great! The guy was fluent and bilingual, which is helpful! The food was awesome. Rarely do you go to a Mexican place and find EVERYTHING is good. Usually either the chicken, steak or pastor is lacking. But this was awesome! Plus their Aqua-Fresca beverage was the best we have had in Tulsa! You should definitely should give them a shot!

Went yesterday for the first time! Good service, good food, clean. Had a shrimp taco and a fish taco which were great! Chips and salsa were good and the salsa bar has a lot of fresh condiment choices. Had to try a small margarita which was good as well.

Reggie brought home food today. The Real Taco is on 126th and Memorial and they have the best tacos. Many kinds. Today Reggie had 2 fish tacos, rice and beans. I had 2 Quesdilla de Brirra, rice and beans. Guacamole, Chips and salsa. Still have a serving of Flan to share. If you haven't eaten here, you are missing out. So delicious and the friendliest people.😋💕 Update What is birria? At its most basic, birria is a meat stew bathed in a melange of chiles and spices, giving it a deep, red hue. Birria tacos feature tortillas filled with the stew’s tender, juicy meat. The tortillas are dipped in the thin layer of fat that floats to the top of the birria, then filled with meat and thrown on the griddle, giving them their Instagram-worthy look and addictively crispy exterior. Birria tacos are served with the consommé, or broth from the stew, on the side, topped with onions and cilantro. The tacos are dipped in the consommé, making for a multisensory gastronomic experience that people can’t seem to get enough of.

I've been here twice and had the tacos and tamales, they were excellent! Two weeks later I came back for King Plate entree, and it was awesome! They did not disappoint, real authentic style with a good choice salsa bar. My waiter, Danny, was serving me each time I was here and I had excellent service. Thank you Real Taco and Danny! I'll be back.

If you like authentic Mexican this place is for you. I got the burrito with grilled chicken. It was huge. I could only eat about a third of it. Wife got the street tacos with steak and they were great as well. Priced reasonably. Would highly recommend.

The Red taco was a flavor explosion of tender and well seasoned meat wrapped in a soft, handmade tortilla. The Gobernador (best in Tulsa), with its succulent shrimp and melted cheese, took my taste buds on a delightful journey to the coast. Both tacos were generously filled and bursting with authentic Mexican flavors. And let's talk about the salsa bar – a true treat for salsa lovers! The variety of salsas available was impressive, and everything tasted so fresh and vibrant. Each salsa added a unique kick to my tacos, making every bite an adventure. This hidden gem in Bixby offers an authentic taste of Mexico that you won't find in just any taco joint. The service was friendly and attentive, adding to the overall enjoyable experience. Whether you're looking for a quick lunch or a satisfying dinner, The Real Taco is the place to be. I had seen this place for months and months. I have no clue how long they have been in business here. The Real Taco is such a bold statement for a restaurant to use it as their name. I hope that they plan to back it up. So here we go! As I arrived I noticed two separe doors, one for dine-in and one for take-out. As I entered I noticed the sign that I can seat anywhere I want. The waiter quickly showed up and offered me drinks and also brought chips and salsa. Once I saw the menu, there was no doubt what I was going to get: The Birria Tacos. Why so? I grew up eating this back in Mexico and I since, I have fallen in love with it. If people realized how hard it is to find good Birria, they would understand why I cant pass this opportunity to try it! While I waited on my order I went to go check on the bathrooms. They were on the take-out side of the building. My tacos took about 5 minutes to arrive at my table, warm and smelled amazing! The smell gave away these were goat!!! Fierro Primo!! The taste was just like back at home!!!! 🥹🥹🥹🥹 fond memories from this moment! The rice and beans were an added complement to the already good experience I just lived. So what is there left to say? Well there is no doubt that this was amazing. I do have a couple of observations. * the parking lot is rough primo. * the bathrooms need a little bit of attention. * the floor at the time I was here really needed someone to sweep it. Gracias for the awesome tacos!!!

I've had better, I've had worse. Decent food, all the salsa is hot, and seems authentic. I tried it because they had rave reviews.
