A pleasant Saturday afternoon, and finally a trip to the RAW BAR. Our children eat here all the time, but my Wife and I have never stepped foot into this establishment. It was a criminal act We will never repeat. We were seated immediately, and a server was right there to answer ANY questions we had. After perusing the menu, we ordered to indulge both of our palates. We started with Edamame w/sea salt and Shishito Peppers as appetizers, then ordered the Salmon Poke Bowl (2x the meat), then added a Twin Dragon roll, and a Sweet Chili Philly roll for our main courses. It wasn't 5 minutes before everything started arriving. To say the taste was incredible isn't doing it justice! Fresh ingredients, prepared quickly and professionally, and plated with expertise made this meal a wonder to behold! Please don't forget to ask for the fresh ginger and Wasabi to both cleanse your palate and add a kick to your food. After taking our time to eat, we finished and then added dessert. We ordered the Creme' Brule with Raspberry Sorbet, and the Tempura fried Bananas with Coconut Ice Cream. Both were overwhelming in flavor and plating, and the flavors were very tasty on the tongue! We were so pleased with this place and the food we tipped our server 45%, and tipped each cook $10 for their excellant service and attitude. This rivals Japanese Blossom in appeal and taste, AND is actually better in nuance and seating...nowhere near as noisy either. Repeat customers for LIFE!!
if you’re looking for the best place in town to get sushi then this is it pal. Rawbar is our go to spot whenever we feel like celebrating anything. Birthday? Rawbar. Anniversary? Rawbar. Are you just in the mood to eat some amazing ribs and rolls? Rawbar (duuuh). obsessed is an understatement. Josh was our server when we went last night and he was so fabulous and on point. He brought me the most amazing mocktail with lime and mint and it was so yum and refreshing. Whenever we get the ribs I get the sauce all over my face and hands and he gave us hot towels because Josh knew the vibes. Absolute legend. If you haven’t been to Rawbar yet then get it together honestly. Lemon Hamachi roll 4 life 🍋🐠

The RawBar Restaurant & Sushi is a culinary gem that combines the art of sushi-making with a delectable array of raw and seafood dishes. My recent dining experience at this establishment left me thoroughly impressed, and I'm delighted to share my review. First and foremost, the RawBar lives up to its name with a stunning array of fresh and high-quality seafood. The selection of sushi and sashimi is not only visually appealing but also an absolute treat for the taste buds. The chef's attention to detail is evident in the presentation and the diverse range of seafood options, from melt-in-your-mouth toro to delicately sliced hamachi. The freshness of the ingredients truly shines through in every bite. The restaurant's ambiance is both elegant and comfortable, making it an ideal setting for a memorable dining experience. The dimmed lighting and contemporary decor create a welcoming atmosphere, suitable for both intimate dinners and group gatherings. The skilled sushi chefs at the bar add an interactive element to the experience, and their expertise is on full display as they craft each piece of sushi with precision. One of the standout features of the RawBar is its commitment to creativity and innovation. The menu includes unique sushi rolls that combine traditional flavors with unexpected twists. Whether you're in the mood for a classic California roll or an adventurous fusion creation, you'll find options to satisfy a wide range of preferences. The restaurant's signature rolls are a must-try, showcasing inventive combinations that push the boundaries of traditional sushi. The service at the RawBar is attentive and knowledgeable. The staff is eager to assist in navigating the menu, offer recommendations, and provide information about the various seafood options. Their expertise in sake pairings also enhances the dining experience, allowing you to explore new flavors that complement your meal. In addition to the sushi and sashimi offerings, the RawBar provides an array of cooked dishes, from tempura to grilled seafood, ensuring there's something for every palate. These cooked dishes are expertly prepared and served with a unique twist, adding to the restaurant's culinary appeal. One thing to consider is that due to the high quality of ingredients and the attention to detail, prices at the RawBar can be on the higher side. However, the quality of the dining experience and the memorable flavors make it a worthwhile investment for those seeking an exceptional sushi experience. In conclusion, the RawBar Restaurant & Sushi is a dining destination that truly stands out. Its dedication to the art of sushi, commitment to freshness, and creativity in culinary innovation make it a top choice for sushi aficionados and seafood lovers. The combination of excellent service, a stylish setting, and a menu filled with delicious surprises make this restaurant a must-visit for anyone seeking an extraordinary sushi and raw bar experience.
On this cold winter evening, the Rawbar Restaurant provided a wonderful respite from the cold and the sea of carbohydrates saturating the downtown area. The Lemon Hamachi (roll), with a lemon slice on top, had a delightfully fresh zest followed by an accent of cucumber that enhanced the Yellowtail flavor. The Tiger eye slam is an amazing roll featuring salmon drizzled with unagi sauce on top and freshwater eel rolled inside, providing a tantalizingly creamy journey for the consumer. Interested in trying one of the tempura fried rolls, we opted for the Philafornia (Ingredients: Krab, avocado, cream cheese). The tempura breading encasing the roll was a familiar, rougher texture that complemented the silkiness of the cream cheese and avocado. Accompanied with the krab, the roll was sweet and calm compared to the sharp flavors of the other rolls we tried. Very pleasantly surprised with the experience. For dessert, we topped off the experience with the house favorite, the Tempura Fried Banana. This decadently indulgent dish is a dichotomy of crunchy and warm, soft and cold. The banana is subtly sweet, the tempura breading is warm and melts the ice cream as you savor it. If it becomes too sweet, there is a single raspberry to balance the sugar with its fruity tart flavor.
This place is amazing. We enjoyed a lovely dinner outside. We even got rained on a bit and didn't mind at all. The food was great and the fried bananas were a perfect cap to the evening.
Wow! We made a mistake and entered an incorrect email address when ordering an E Gift Card. Called the restaurant and the manager Darren was able to assist and get the email corrected. Wished I lived closer so we could check this place out. Thanks to Darren and staff for their immediate response to OUR mistake!
