We had heard good things about Qs. However, we were a bit nervous when we walked in at 5pm on a Friday to a completely empty restaurant. The staff was extremely friendly, and we ordered ribs, pork belly burnt ends, pulled pork, brisket, Mac n cheese, beans, corn bread, and a pulled pork sandwich. With a few Faygos to wash it down. Wanted to basically try all the smoked meats. We sat out back, and the staff brought out our meal quickly. We popped open the containers, and my first impression was that it looked a bit dry. We dove in and pigged out 🐖 🐷 The smoked meats were delicious, the ribs and burnt ends that looked dry were moist and full of flavor. The brisket bark was absolutely delicious. The mac n cheese was like mom used to make. The only criticism I would have is that the cornbread was dry, and the beans were just not my liking. I have tried BBQ all over the country, and this was a standout
Food was delicious and hot! Love the atmosphere. Situated in quaint downtown Ludington, this building is remodeled and has an upscale, smokehouse feel. The staff was friendly and helpful. Food service was fast! I ordered the brisket, blue cheese and bacon potato salad, baked beans, and added a wedge of corn bread. Came out to around $14. Good value for the portions that filled me up! Three house BBQ sauces were available too for your choosing.
Absolutely amazing food. The employee working the register was so nice, you can tell he loves what he does. The mustard bbq sauce was seriously the best sauce we've tried. The cooks are listening to the customers placing the orders, so they are getting started on the food before the order is even finished so by the time you pay the food is almost done. We will be returning here for sure!
Fantastic experience for this group of 4. The place is clean welcoming as soon as you step in the door. The staff was very helpful in explaining the menu options, and service was prompt. I would definitely recommend the 4x4 platter. I trusted the google rating on this one and would definitely return.
Good bbq. As good as I can imagine without being in the South. Nice outside, covered area to eat that was dog friendly. Price was definitely a tick towards the high side. $20 for a full meal, but there were some other options for less.
Excellent food. The jackfruit was delicious! I saw it on the online menu, but not menu there, so I asked. There are vegan and vegetarian options. They have about 5 selections for liquor and a beer selection. There is also art of various mediums for sale in the back.
Absolutely the BEST brisket I have ever had. I didn't want the food to end. I got shivers. Seriously. Amazing. My husband ordered the ribs and really liked them. For sides, we ordered Mac & Cheese and Beans for sides. They were okay. Friendly service - the owner even came out to check on us a couple times. Service style reminded me of a Qdoba. Unfortunately, It doesn't appear that they have a really good process for ordering. My husband went up to order, and while he was there a few more people came in, and in my husbands words, "it was like they didn't know what to do if there was more than one person." Hope that improves in time.
One of the hardest things about no longer living next to Lake Michigan is that I had to say goodbye to The Q. But I recently visited Ludington and got to enjoy one of my favorite restaurants again. The interior of the building and ordering system has changed since I last visited, but everything was amazingly delicious as always. And now they have a great outdoor seating area!!!
This was exactly what I was looking for. Visiting my old high school area and family with no internet makes getting my computer related work hard to do while visiting Ludington. I needed a place to enjoy a beverage while having space to check my comp
A great playground for kids young and old(er). Multiple play areas with lots of slides and swings. We were visiting for the New Year's Eve event and needed something to do in the morning. This park entertained our kids for well over an hour and we on
The hike (for me) was a nice experience with occasional breaks and snack and drinks you must take, and some doggies were along with some people, so petting one was therapeutic! one lady left strange tracks and she finally came back on a battery wheel
Love this place, I've never got the chance to camp here but I have spent some days here. Love the hiking here. Beautiful scenery. Family-friendly trails. They have kayaks to rent at the main part of the park.
Nice small park that's mainly just the beach. Parking is right next to the beach and the beach is very accessible. There are two porta potties at the parking lot. There is nothing else though. The park side of the beach connects to the Buttersville c
The fresh-caught Michigan fish is AMAZING!!! We tried them all: walleye, lake perch, and whitefish. My personal favorite was the walleye, but they were all delicious. The deep fried option was exceptional. Not at all greasy. Light and crispy. Outstan
Revised Review (4/28/22): This Motel has since changed owners. Reservations are much more expensive and include other fees such as booking and cleaning fees. Additionally, they offer limited cancellation flexibility. Very sad this gem has changed it
An awesome food truck at the US 10 spot in Ludddington. We came for dinner and saw they had food trucks so we stopped. Super cool that they have this. The dogs were cheap and delicious. All dogs are made to order which is great. The staff were re
