Incredible food, great service, and great location. The bathrooms are a little weird (lack of privacy) but not terrible. The bacon was the star of the show. I love bacon but the presentation here was unexpected in the best way possible. It’s thick, tender, fatty, and so full of flavor. I would come back just for the bacon. I also loved the shrimp and grits. These grits are creamy and decadent, so buttery and savory I could eat them plain but the shrimp and sauce do add a lovely complement.
This is a family style restaurant and the food portion is big. We apparently ordered too much. But the food quality is pretty good. Love the sprouts and whole fish fry.
The food, the service, chef’s kiss. The bartender made me a custom drink which was perfect. The food timing was perfect so they were staggering foods and all came out hot and fresh. The oysters were fresh flavorful; the beef frites was so delicious and didn’t even need the garlic aioli which made it even better. The porchetta was beyond this world and had the perfect balance of everything. The mushrooms were perfect in texture and soaked in the delicious flavoring while still maintaining the mushroom taste. All other foods were also just as good and I could rave on and on about it. The service was outstanding and we felt taken care of. 10/10 would recommend and come back again.
Overall: The food was okay but the service was professional, courteous, and timely. Price point is good but again, the food for us was just okay. The restaurant has a nice ambiance and we did love that you could sit outdoors. Main Course: We ordered the waffle, shakshuka, aged cheddar biscuit with ricotta, and shrimp & grits. By far the best out of the 4 was the shrimp & grits. The waffle was surprisingly disappointing. It lacked substance and seemed a bit old. The shakshuka had potential but really didn't make the mark. The biscuit was very underwhelming. Portion size: The portion sizes are quite large and will leave you feeling stuffed. Price point: Comparable to other brunch spots in the area; however, I really didn't feel the shakshuka was worth $22. Service: Courteous, professional, and timely. Ambiance: Casual. Attire: Casual. Reservations: Weekend brunch is packed so I would recommend a reservation. Parking: We walk here from our hotel so cannot speak to the parking situation.
Did you know that The Publican has happy hour M-F from 4 to 6 pm? Me neither until last week! Fantastic smash burgers, oysters, schnitzel, and beer all with reduced prices. Indoor and patio seating available. Definitely recommend!
Great brunch on the weekends. I liked the shrimp and grits and waffle and croissant. Nice intimate booths for parties if 4. Happy to return.
An excellent spot for dinner. It's a little on the pricey side, but it's worth the stretch. The food was fresh and delicious and the staff was really friendly. I highly recommend the pork chop. It was cooked perfectly and was tender and delicious, and the portion size was quite generous. The serrano ham and bread plate was also quite a treat. They make their own bread and it is very good. Perfectly crusty on the outside, and soft and moist on the inside. And the beef fat fries shouldn't be missed. This place knows how to do pork.
The food is out of this world. I came alone but wish I had a crowd to enjoy every dish with. This place is for foodies, down to the care the bar manager put into crafting a reallllly good espresso martini for me and the other basic girlies that wanna party. The food here is exquisite. Wow.
I recently visited Farm Bar with my cousin, and even without a reservation, our experience was fantastic! We decided to sit at the bar, where the bartender was incredibly attentive and made us feel right at home. My cousin opted for the grilled chee
Delicious meal! Made a reservation here and weâre seated on time in the back area. Had the butternut squash soup, brussel sprouts, burrata, and half chicken. The server was helpful and responsive. He made a great recommendation for a Pinot noir to
The Polo Inn is a great local place to relax and have a delicious meal. We always get the salmon dinner because it is so excellent. It is always very moist and delicious! The soups are outstanding, too. And service is always top notch here. Defi
Each of us ordered the single burger. Apparently the single burger actually has two patties. The burger definitely can be rated the #1 burger in Chicago! The combination of the patties, bun is being put at the best mix. (Definitely add bacon, so cris
The food, service, drinks is top notch. Victor was fantastic. I had an amazing lunch with my sister (I am in from out of town but IL is forever my home). Thank you for a wonderful and special experience. Highly recommend. 11/10!
Food is great. Corn beef hash was so very good, like surprisingly. The sputhwesteen salad was nice+ The ordering process however is not streamlined. You can order on your phone and eventually the food comes to you, maybe. OR ask for a menu and get t
This place has been a Lincoln Square institution for a very long time. Congratulations to the owners who will be retiring soon. They have operated not only a great bakery and cafe for decades, they have also been a good model on how to be good employ
The food, the drinks, the service, the ambiance...all fantastic! It was just a short walk from our hotel at Cambria so we decided to give it a try. For my entree I ordered the Dearborn Burger and it was so delicious. I ended up eating the whole thing
Sad this place is closing! We had the fried chicken and risotto, and I cannot believe the party that happened in my mouth. We had three different interactions with three different employees/servers and they were all genuine, kind, and I wanted to be
My son absolutely loves LifeTough Kids Boxing. He is in his second session, now in intermediates and we canât wait to see where the next level takes him. The coaches are absolutely incredible and the time and dedication they put towards the kids
In Chicago and stopped by this place. Grand opening for them. Wonderful people with a great spirit overall. Had a chance to dive into the whole thing of coffee coming from Ethiopia after meeting their African-American roaster of coffee. Lovely time -
I'm writing this review after taking a full year of classes at Vibez. Initially, I bought class packs and then signed up for the monthly membership (8 classes a month) once I knew it was a good fit. Over the course of 2023, I lost more than 20 pounds
Ive been coming to the Garage Gym heavy AF classes for 6 weeks now and absolutely love them! I was previously just doing one class a week and purchased the five pack, but I decided to move forward with a membership to start going multiple times a wee
I recently joined CrossFit Park Ridge and hands down, best choice Iâve made. Very warm and welcoming community. Workouts are challenging and never boring. And coaches are great! My only regret is not joining sooner. If youâre ready and serious a

This apartment was a great find for us. We had 4 adults and 5 kids and had plenty of space to fit us all comfortably. Importantly for our group the kitchen is well equipped - there have been many places we've stayed where there aren't enough bowls an
I tell all my friends who visit Chicago, or move there to check out Fly Club. The instructors are top-tier and it's a privilege to have so much talent in one facility. The spaces are beautiful, and the community is very welcoming. Even if you're a gu
We love Cafe Calida so much. We came here our last two mornings of our trip and regretted not coming earlier. Great menu with delicious pastries. My husband got a mocha and I got a Chai latte and they were both so delicious. Our first morning we came
Pizza was great. I love this style of pizza. Itâs a great place for a low key date night. Prices were extremely reasonable, especially for the quality. It is a family run business, the family has 2 generations of pizza making experience. Itâs a s
