Nice sun terrace. Good location. The bikes were a really nice thing. Many restaurants nearby. The parking lot was good.|There was no coffee on offer, which was a big minus. The room was big but a bit old-fashioned. A bit expensive but Sabta Barbara seems to be.
This is No-Frills lodging, now that's not necessary a bad thing. You can pay $200 $300 or even $400 bucks a night at some of the high end hotels here in Santa Barbara or you can pay $150 bucks a night staying here, And spend your hard earned money on other things like great dining at any of the enormous restaurants or the pub walk on State street 😉 or down at the beachfront on souvenirs. Think about it, your hotel room is just somewhere to sleep so spend your money on having a good time and spoil yourself, Remember you're on vacation. The rooms are good sized and very clean and well maintained the staff is friendly and helpful 😀 this place is centrally located and far enough away from the tourist traps and crowds. I would recommend this place to my friends and family.
I like it is very comfy and safe place, it’s clean, even it looks kinda old and needs a bit more care in the furniture but it’s good for resting, have a good shower, and the location is GREAT. The staff is kind, the lend me q microwave so I could warm my babie’s bottle and it was a good comfy place for my baby girl too. But if you want to sleep a bit longer in the morning it’s impossible because the staff starts making the cleaning quite early and due to the hotel is made with wood there’s a hell of noise. The office closes at 10pm so if you wed anything after hours you will find nothing. Overall is a good place with a fair fair price. I’d stay here again for sure.
After a long trip, I arrived at the hotel at 1:30 pm, check-in time is 3 pm, so they informed me that they would only anticipate it at a cost of $20, which I understand, as those are the rules. What made me angry was that they denied the use of a bathroom, because according to the employee there are no bathrooms in common areas... well, I saw rooms being cleaned while being attended. Would it be difficult to let me use the bathroom in a room without guests? I had to run to a gas station, desperate. Note: my party had a 65 year old lady and an 8 year old child, extreme lack of sensitivity.
Positive: Comfy beds, quality sheets, shampoo/conditioner/soap, minifridge, and strong A/C. Negative: Furniture was beat-up and old. The bathroom is not well ventilated making it difficult to use the mirror after a shower (steamed up). The room had a motel vibe.
Very confortable room in a very nice area of the town. Staff was friendly and available to help. We checked in late at night with a large pickup. The parking is large and spacious. The room comes with a fridge...the weird thing that it is inside the bathroom :(.
This motel offers complimentary bicycles for use during the day, which is awesome. They are single-speed beach cruisers with coaster brakes, so don't expect much, but more than sufficient for going down State St (which is a pleasant ride because several blocks in downtown are closed to cars) to Stearns Wharf and exploring the area like Shoreline Park and Chase Palm Park. Bikes come with locks but not helmets. I liked the bike theming for the keychain and deck pillows too. It's not far from the city center (10 minute walk). 30 minutes from the train station/ beach. The rooms are pretty standard for a motel. The window in my room was weirdly structured and let some air/sound through, but it wasn't very noisy.
We spent two nights in the Presidio and loved it. The rooms are spacious and very clean. I loved the high ceiling and the bathroom was good too. The gentleman on reception was very cheery and welcoming. We were able to get ice from reception. Personally I loved the decking area which was great for a spot of reading or sunbathing. Location wise it's a fair walk into town but an interesting one. If you walk in the opposite direction there's a grocery outlet and Pasta Pronto. Santa Barbara is wonderful to explore, especially the bird sanctuary. It was a great place to stay.
For me, my Bar Method classes are as important as taking my vitamins! I have been going regularly for nearly two years now and I feel so strong and healthy. The instructors go through a lot of training so you can count on having a good, challenging c
The best F45 I've been to. Class was packed with almost 50 members. All the coaches, specifically Coach Katrina, found time to motivate and challenge me through one of the best workouts I've had in months.
