My partner and I stopped in here for a light dinner. We had a few cocktails and tried the charcuterie board and Margarita flatbread pizza. We really enjoyed everything we tried and had an amazing night. We will definitely be coming back here for date nights.
Update May 2023:
Had an amazing brie, prosciutto, and fig sandwich from the Preacher's Daughter last week. My companion enjoyed her lox crostini greatly as well.
I am not a big mustard fan, so I asked if the potato salad was mustardy and the waitress said no. It was, in fact, quite mustardy! But luckily, I can handle Dijon mustard more easily than yellow mustard. If you love mustard, I think you'd like that side dish a lot.
This was our second time, and we were much more pleased with our dishes this time. Now I just need to actually be there at a decent time for Happy Hour...

Lots to like about the decor, quality ingredients, etc. but I was underwhelmed by my BLT and corn soup's flavor, and my dining companion found the dressing's vinegar overwhelming. Will definitely go again - I look forward to raising that rating!
Played trivia with a group of friends. Fun, but took a while between rounds. Very small place so pretty crowded.
Great food! Warm olives were a pleasant surprise. Hummus delight. Goat cheese was fabulous!
Great service!
Looking for a pick me up after eating some delicious Italian food, we stopped by The Prescher's Daughter to grab a cup of coffee and chu chu board of meats and cheese. The staff was friendly and attentive. Little to no wait to get seated and order our goodies. There was live music to help set the atmosphere of the place. All in all a fun time to be had no alcohol required... But I did partake lol.
I love taking friends and family to The Preachers Daughter. The have great food, good vibes, friendly staff and beautiful interesting art you can admire and/or buy. Cocktails and mocktails are fun, my favorite sandwich is the Farmers Daughter. I have to have one every month or so. And I always have to get an ube bundt cake - soooo yummy and it's Purple?!?! They even have board games available to encourage people to hang out - how great is that?
Don't sleep on this place! I love it and the shift give me a salad instead of chips with my sandwich this morning. I will be back I just stopped by to get a pick-me-up for the day LOL. Dog friendly! I love the atmosphere, outdoor seating with heat lamps. Support local! They have great wine selection and food options. I highly recommend buying a bottle and enjoying the time with someone special.
Unreal spot. Staff was super kind and the vibe was just right. Loved the olives, wines and beer we got to try. Will be back asap.

Very unique old school video arcade located in Alameda's busiest commercial district. Pay for unlimited plays for a certain amount of time.

Great variety of local beers on tap ranging from juicy IPAs to malt-forward stouts, all made with Admiral Maltings' malted grain. They even had local whiskies made with their malts, (will have to try those next time), and they offer tours of their fa
When I moved here from San Diego 2 years ago, I took a short walk and found this spot. Within moments, I was served by a great lady. Within 5 more minutes, I called her back over, introduced myself, and told her that I'd just moved here and that thi
If youâre in the East Bay and have a thing for ice cream, this is your spot. Itâs where I find the most unique flavors, like Filipino Calamansi and the standout Dan Tat, which is essentially Chinese egg custard turned into ice cream. Itâs perfe
Nice and cool area with the breeze from the bay air. Perfect place for large and small dogs. Pretty bustling on the weekends with so many pups playing. There's always a trashcan within and reach to drop off the dookies.
This place is WELL worth the trek.
The whole area is ripe for improvement, but Faction has done an incredible job taking the lil slice of Alameda and delivering a view to doe for and delicious beers.
