The Pluckemin Inn - American restaurant in Bedminster - 10 Pluckemin Way, USA

Unique menu, outstanding food. The textures and flavors were astronomically delicious. Especially impressed with the asparagus and green pea salad and the black bass entree. I’m not into sweets but the dessert truffles were also incredible. You won’t have a bad meal here.

Had dinner for my wife's birthday and our evening at Pluckemin was excellent as always. Impeccable service and excellent dishes, from appetizers to entrees to desserts. The food was delicious and wonderfully presented. And it is really nice to dine in a quiet atmosphere where you are not rushed through dinner. We have been dining here for many years and will certainly be back again.

Let’s start with the pros…atmosphere was lovely, service on point, salad excellent along with drinks. Cons,,,,cost was insane $25 for a tooth full of salmon, $40 for about 2 oz of risotto in a soup bowl !!!! $150 for a steak? Really? Dessert was bland. We won’t Be back. There are many excellent restaurants in the area for half of this price.

I decided to split a big steak with my friend which was a special. A .40 oz tenderloin. When they brought it out they had already sliced it and divided it into 2 portions and it was cold as if it had been sitting in the kitchen for a while. They gave the bone to my friend. The pieces that I received contained tendon and was difficult to cut and eat. I expect a $145 dollar steak to be perfect. It was far from it and very amateurish serving technique. We should have been allowed to choose our own portions. Overall the steak was not first class. I think the chef should have done better choosing the meat in the first place. . I would have sent it back but was entertaining and it would have been embarrassing.

Simple food well-executed with an excellent wine team that fulfills their high expectations. Apple turnover cake and veal chops were my favorite of the night. I really appreciate that a well-run American restaurant with a good wine program still exists in this day and age.

A five-course meal exceptionally prepared, served by professionals plus a sommelier... Perfect! Right-sized portions, amazing flavors, and a deep selection of wines made it an experience and a treat.

Amazing food. Enormous selection of wines. Perfect atmosphere for a nice dinner. Not a cheap date restaurant. You want an excellent meal? This is a place you should definitely check out. The lunch menu is also amazing! The young talent they have in the kitchen are always coming up with something delicious. Call ahead as it tends to be popular no matter the day or time.

Food taste and looks like it's been freshly prepared when you order. Nothing looks packaged. Everything was absolutely delicious. Definitely will recommend everyone I know to come visit. With a warning lable attached cause it's not a cheap place to visit. Your definitely paying for great food and a nice environment. Wine selection is massive. They have a wine for everyone.
