This place is unique in all the best ways! Super cool original architecture and fixtures, but appears to be either newly renovated or just very well maintained! Absolutely charming. Our room with 2 beds was more like a studio apartment with a full little kitchen (which I wasn't even expecting), and the bathroom was gorgeous. Every little detail was lovely and it was so immaculately clean that it appeared like new. I could live there. Fyi there is no elevator. While they do charge for parking, it is in their own private lot. The restaurant inside appeared to be very upscale, and we wanted breakfast (fantastic modern menu with a great variety of choices) but we hadn't thought ahead to make a reservation (make a reservation if you don't want an hour wait for a table). This is in a nice neighborhood, within easy walking distance of plenty of cool restaurants and cafes. The Plaza feels expensive, but our price was very affordable. I would absolutely love to stay here again.

Great location, renovated rooms, super clean. Highly recommend. Great staff, easy check in and out. Parking was in back and perfect for a large vehicle. Perfect location. Loved the breakfast downstairs. Highly recommend.

The staff at the Plaza were so accommodating and kind! The room was a great space and close to Deer District. I highly recommend if you want an excellent experience.

I was quite surprised when I entered the hotel to find out old and charming it was. The room felt like an old apartment apartment and there was something comforting in that. It was clean and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. This is close to Veteran's Park and the memorial as well as a great restaurant called The Knick. I highly recommend the Plaza Hotel.

Stayed here one night when in town for a concert. Great historic European style hotel in a very convenient part of Milwaukee. Our room was in reality a Kitchenette! Full stove, fridge, and even a dishwasher! Couldn’t believe it! So fantastic! Great value at a reasonable price. If we’re back in Milwaukee, we’re staying here. We didn’t bring our dog, but even large dogs are okay.

Awesome place! Super cute and clean. Radiator is standard noisy but definitely works. The ceiling fan worked very well. Like any old building, walls kinda thin and could hear lots even late at night but not a bad stay and loved how friendly staff were.

The room was spacious and very clean! It looked like no one had ever stayed there before. I spent many weekends in Milwaukee in the past and I wish I had known about this great hotel! It was very convenient to the hop and the parking rates were great.

We stayed at the The Plaza while in town for a wedding and were blown away by our experience. It is an incredible boutique hotel centrally located in downtown Milwaukee. The moment you walk in, you're greeted with charm, comfort, and impeccable service. The Plaza Cafe is a must-do, as well. The food is fantastic and the staff is wonderful (sit outside in the courtyard, if weather allows). The guest rooms are clean, comfortable, and include awesome amenities, like full kitchens and spacious modern bathrooms. We will definitely stay at the Plaza during our next visit to Milwaukee!
