I visit Birmingham 2-3 times every year. Every single time, I eat at this amazing restaurant on the very first day my flight lands in Birmingham. I have never found better chocolate cake anywhere else at this price. Their lamb dish is too delicious and makes me return to this restaurant way more. Service is amazing!!!
Food was really good! The steak was definitely more tender than the lamb so I would skip paying the few $ extra for the lamb. Overall it was great, service was friendly and fast.
First time eating here. Very good experience. Service was great! Very friendly and quick. I ordered a seafood kabob with grouper, scallops and shrimp. It was very tasty and filling. My boyfriend ordered a lamb kabob. My son ordered a grilled chicken sandwich. The kabobs were served with a side of hummus, fruit (very fresh), wild rice and a salad. The sandwich was serves with fruit and wild rice. I would return.
Fantastic all the way around! What a lovely getaway to enjoy a fresh-cooked meal. I’ve been staying at UAB the past few days with my Grandmother in the hospital and it was so nice to come into an inviting, cozy, welcoming atmosphere to eat a nice meal. I had the seafood kabob with fruit, salad and hummus. The kabob was DELICIOUS and the fruit and salad were so fresh! The server was Matt and he was amazing as well. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!
We go to the Pita Stop often to celebrate with friends. We have been there for many birthdays and anniversary’s. We always receive excellent service and absolutely love the staff. The owner, Matt goes out of his way to make sure we have the best experience and usually remembers our orders. It’s top notch service and wonderful food.
Enjoyable & wonderful food. Always fresh & delish. Great service. Mo & Matt are long timers & will make sure you are well taken care of. Though you will be full at the end of your meal, be sure to try the cheesecake covered in whipped cream. Wow...enough for several to share a bite!
First timer! We ordered online for lunch at the office. Pick up was quick, food was fantastic. I will be making suggestions to visit again. Hopefully next time we can eat there and enjoy the atmosphere. Only drawback was parking but who really cares when the food is phenomenal!

I loved this place! I've been to several Mediterranean restaurants and I always tasted the after taste of Lamb. I didn't grow up eating lamb so I never liked it. I tried their soup with lamb in it and it had no after taste! There are plenty of gluten
