Labor Day weekend. Trying to go up to Sonora Pass. Stopped in for breakfast. Almost full. Staff very friendly. Got a Denver omelette with hash browns and biscuit with gravy. Hash browns excellent. Omelet good. The gravy in the biscuit and gravy not to my tastes. Would go back.

This place is amazing. Food taste like home, it is fresh, delicious and big portions. This coffee totally fits with the nature of LongBarn. Very recommended to have a meal here. You won’t regretted!

Walking into Pine Cone Cafe felt like being embraced by an extended family, such a great way to start my birthday that warmed my heart. The genuine connection between everyone there, from patrons to staff, created an atmosphere of pure joy. What made the day truly special was the sincere friendliness of the staff. Their smiles and warmth added an extra layer of happiness! As for the food, it was simply delicious. Pine Cone Cafe's menu offered a delightful array of flavors that added to the overall enjoyment of the day. In essence, Pine Cone Cafe is more than just a restaurant; it's a haven of heartwarming moments. If you're seeking a place where the atmosphere feels like home, the staff feels like friends, and the food feels like a celebration, Pine Cone Cafe is the perfect spot. My birthday there was nothing short of a heartfelt blessing.

*5/15/22* First time eating here after the change of ownership. I had the Caprese Avocado Toast special with fresh fruit. The avocado toast was so delicious!! Just the right amount of crunch on the toast, and perfect seasoning on the tomatoes and caprese topping. The fruit bowl was the best I've seen at a restaurant, with strawberries, blueberries, red and green grapes, kiwi and plum slices, with nary a cantaloupe or honeydew in sight!! They even had a sizeable slice of orange on the side, unlike the anemic transparent slices seen in other restaurants. The rest of my party praised the fluffy pancakes, delectable French toast, and a spectacular Eggs Benedict. Friendly, patient and efficient staff, who took the time to talk to my grandfather even though they were busy. Definitely recommend eating here, and we will be loyal return customers, for sure!! *Update 8/16/22* We have been back to eat here 3 or 4 times, have brought friends from out of town and more family to enjoy the delicious food. Robin and Claire are great, so nice and friendly whenever we come in. There is indoor and outdoor seating, and a nice atmosphere. We will continue to frequent this little Cafe, it is our favorite 😁.

Don't let the little look at this Cafe stop you from stopping in. The plates are huge but more than that, they are absolutely delicious. The food comes from an experienced chef. They put their heart and soul into the food.

The Pine Cone Cafe is a great addition to MI-Wuk. The food and service are fantastic! I HIGHLY recommend the corned beef hash. Its fresh brisket sliced really thin. It's amazing!

This is a nice place to come, they have both indoor and outdoor seating. Good looking menus with lots of choices for breakfast. They come check on you often and fill your cup, love that. We had chicken fried steak that was nicely done. Corn beef hash was really good.

We ate outside. I had a very good turkey, bacon and avocado sandwich. The waitress was also very nice.
