The Pinch Charleston - Hotel in Charleston - 40 George St, USA

I stayed at The Pinch with my 2 yr old daughter for a girls weekend and we had the BEST experience! It feels like you are staying in a cozy apartment. Everything is clean and adorable. Loved the full kitchen, washer & dryer, breakfast in the morning, comfy bed. The location cannot be beat. Staff is very friendly. If I return to Charleston I will definitely be staying here again, and will be recommending it to all of my family and friends!

I love this hotel so much! The location is perfect for both shopping and dining and anything to do with College of Charleston. But the service and style are why I return. The rooms are so bright and clean and stylish. The concierge is always personable and promptly helpful. It feels like a pied-a-terre to me, with a staff that is happy to see me again. Charleston has many great hotels but I find myself pining for this one when thinking about my next trip.

Loved our 50th birthday couples getaway to Charleston. Staying at The Pinch was perfect for couples and was in an excellent location near everything. We utilized the living room space in the room for cocktail parties and even sat out by the fire. The staff is very nice and helpful. The kitchen is stocked with high-end dish wear and glasses. There were coffee beans and a grinder for morning coffee. We loved the large ice cubes for cocktail in the freezer. Lots of little details made a big difference. Beds were comfortable and the provided sound machine helped with city noise. Would stay again!

I highly recommend this hotel. It’s centrally located, within walking distance to great bars and restaurants. The rooms are actually well equipped apartments, that included a washer and dryer in unit. We had a two bedroom suite. It was beautifully decorated, and the beds were comfortable. The staff was attentive and accommodating. I highly recommend the Pinch and would stay there again.

My friends and I stayed at the Pinch for a girls weekend. We had a two bedroom suite. It was wonderful. The “room” was really an apartment, that was stocked with all the necessities. It was beautifully designed. The furnishings were gorgeous, the beds were comfortable, the shower pressure was great and the water was hot. It seems silly to list some of these things, but as someone who travels often, trust me, these things are not guaranteed even in upscale hotels. It is centrally located, so we were able to walk to many of the restaurants we visited. The staff was attentive and accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel and would certainly stay here again.

We had a wonderful experience at The Pinch. The staff is welcoming and helpful. The overall design of the hotel and attention to detail doesn’t really get any better. Our 2 bedroom suite felt new, VERY clean, modern but still warm. Everything you could possibly need in a kitchen was there - down to a lemon juicer. Beautiful fixtures, lighting and flooring. Also - can’t beat the location. SO central to downtown Charleston, but the room was quiet. Look forward to staying here again.

47 out of 10. This place is magnificent, from thoughtful boho-chic design to the rooms being equipped with whatever a guest could need. We so enjoyed our full kitchen and washer + dryer, sound machines, expansive snack and libation selection in our room's drink cart, the attentive staff, and their on-site restaurants. We travel to Charleston often and have stayed at many hotels there; this is our absolute without hesitation new fave. Thanks y'all!

The Pinch is a gem and defines southern hospitality. I stayed in the One Bedroom Premier Suite and was impressed by the size of the room and the level of detail at every corner. It was wonderful to have a kitchen and wash/dryer in the room. The staff and concierge will go out of their way to make sure you have the perfect stay and are thoughtful and generous. We had dinner at the Lowland Tavern restaurant in the hotel and it was excellent and the atmosphere perfect. I can't wait to stay here again.
