Walk in the door, and the delicious BBQ smell smacks you in the face. Down home feel with local bar appeal. Food was good amd very reasonably priced. The honey sauce was fabulous and service was good. Highly recommend.

Unfortunately, this was the worst bbq I have ever tasted in my life! I wasn’t going to leave a review but after I left that night 12/14/23, I got some kind of food poisoning. 3 am run to the bathroom, 7 am run to the bathroom, and 5 more times during the next day. My stomach was hurting all day long and I was driving all day, back towards Portland so it was a miserable night and drive back. The chicken and the ribs that I got were so dry that I could barely eat them. Even the leg and thigh. The driest meat I have ever tasted. The seasoning on the meat is not my preference but that’s just a personal preference. Personally I prefer alittle more salt and less sugar in my rubs. It was sweet and bitter at the same time. I had to smother the meat with bbq sauce. I hadn’t eaten anything that day so I was hungry. Now I wish I would have left it there and left but I hate wasting food even at my healths expense. I’m not sure if it was the meat or the Cole slaw that made me sick. I’m assuming the slaw was not kept at the right temp and the meat must have been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. Didn’t eat much of the beans. The service was good and friendly but if you don’t have good food, then I don’t know what you have. 12/18/23 - I am still sick from this food. I can’t eat anything without having to run to the bathroom after. I’m so upset with this restaurant right now. If anyone else ate here on 12/14, please leave a review and tell if you got sick because this is not okay!

I came here an hour and a half before closing. I was very reluctant to order the half chicken dinner that close to closing time because of past experiences with other restaurants near closing time. But the waitress assured me that my food would be fresh. NOTHING could have been farther from the truth. They took my hard earned money and gave me a old very over cooked chicken that wasn’t edible. If that wasn’t bad enough, they refused to give me a refund when I walked back into the restaurant 4 minutes later.

My husband and I read some of the ratings and thought it would probably be a pretty good place to eat. But after we got there and ordered our food, it was horrible! Shredded chicken was super dry. The coleslaw tasted like a refrigerator. My husband did like his pork ribs, but that was the only decent thing there. Not much on drink choices either. Needless to say we tried it and we won’t be going back.

Food was great👍, service was good the ladies were busy, overall everything was good hamburger was delicious and charred to perfection, thanks for the enjoyable😉 meal, the fries were very good hope to come back sometimes for another great meal, thanks and keep up the good work.

Food was decent BBQ and compared to other options in Winnemucca not a bad place for a stop on a road trip

The tri tip was good. They thin shave it which was different for me. The shredded chicken really good. Nice spice. The dry rub on the ribs was excellent and they weren't over cooked. Still had some chew on the bone. The shining star was the bbq beans. Good spice and the put some of the pulled pork in them. Nicely done!! It could be a meal all on its own. Bbq beans and some cornbread would be perfect!!!

The food was not great. The french frys were cold and my hamburger was okay but, the burger got lost in the hard bun. The lettuce was old, didn't eat it. My hubby's pork sandwich was just okay. However, our waitress was fantastic. We both ordered diet soda that was really sweet and flat. She came back with more drinks. She checked on us and was super polite.
