My husband, Brian, and I stayed at the Peregrine for 4 nights over the holidays. We had such a wonderful stay and can't say enough about the incredible staff. We were treated SO well, and would especially like to thank Alice at the front desk and Eva at the restaurant. They were so warm and caring, and we felt like we left having made new friends! We certainly will be back when we visit my husband's family again! We are gold members with Hilton and there are also some great amenities that come with that. As far as the hotel itself goes, the design and furnishings are gorgeous (especially at Christmas with the beautiful tree in the lobby!), and we loved the high-end bathroom and comfortable, luxurious bed. As a note to guests: the water might take 5 or so minutes to heat up, but it will be perfectly hot after that. We didn't mind that at all, especially knowing the building is so historic which was a huge perk!! We both love history and enjoyed learning all about the property. It was such a treat to stay, and we are looking forward to our next visit!!

Front desk: no one around at check in at 4 in the afternoon. Had to ask the bartender to locate someone after waiting nearly 10 minutes. Room had clearly not been vacuumed, shredded candy wrapper pieces all over the floor and also in the night stand drawer. (See photos). Carpet had a large stain, approx 12” diameter. Makeup from a previous guest was on the bathroom counter and on the base of the magnifying mirror. Stains on the bathroom wall behind the trash can. I brought this to the attention of the front desk within 30 minutes of arrival. Several maintenance issues: the bath faucet was about to fall off the counter it was so loose. Wobbled all over the place. The shower stall sliding door handle was very loose and about to fall off. Dining: the Reuben was very good. Fries were mediocre, at best. The smoked Old Fashioned was fantastic. Live music, solo artist was very pleasant. Loud enough to be heard, quiet enough to talk over with yelling. At checkout, 2 men who clearly did not have rooms at the hotel (listened to their conversation with the desk person) headed to the elevators and up to who knows where. Clerk was not able to print me a receipt. I mentioned again the cleanliness issues and added the maintenance concerns to the desk person.

This place was full of extremes. Gorgeous decoration, and then the bathroom didn't have any hand soap. Beautiful, welcoming lobby, and then the front desk employee had a uniform that was too shabby for a motel, which knocked me out of my daze on arrival. The handle for the shower broke off. The clock was broken. The handicapped assistance for the front doors didn't stay open long enough for entry. I could go on. It just wasn't worth the price and isn't worthy of the stars it has.

First, the hotel is lovely. I liked the decor; I liked the whole vibe. The bed was comfortable. Bathroom fixtures were nice. Fitness center was well equipped. I was able to walk to multiple restaurants for dinner. The roof top bar was fun. However, there were a number of annoying issues. Nothing awful, but enough to make the stay a little less than ideal. Hot water in the shower was hit-or-miss each morning. The TV did not work for the 4 days I stayed (I was offered free parking to make up for this). They seemed short staffed. I had to call down to the front desk multiple times-- most of the time no one answered.

I will start by saying this is a nice looking hotel. They spent a good amount of time and money on the Peregrine theme and details. There are two lounges/bars with good but expensive drinks and was told there is a gym in the basement. No shuttle from the airport but it was only 4-4.5 miles so the taxi and lyft were both approximately $20 one way (taxi was a little more). The beds were too firm? hard for my preference but I still slept without too much pain. The pillows were way too soft, it was like they had no support at all. I had to ask for two more to make any impact at all. The major complaint (and I heard this from others) was the shower. There is an amazing rain shower head that gets you excited for a great shower but not once did the water coming out of that shower head get warm much the less hot. There was a second handheld shower attachment that you had to use, if you waited long enough (5 minutes or more at times) you would get warm water but forget about any water pressure even at the "strongest" massage setting. The shower looked great (big, nice fixtures) but was a big disappointment. There are also signs around the room in various places saying how they want to protect your visit and they would only have housekeeping if you requested it. Someone was in the room everyday. Sometimes they just switched out towels, sometimes they spread up the bed, you never knew. Sometimes you would get all your towels replaced, sometimes some were missing. I ran out of tissues but they didn't replace them, I went to the front desk and they tried to give me a roll of toilet paper instead. The details were inconsistent. My other dislike was the desk chair, I don't know if you can really call it a desk chair other than it was pushed under the desk. It was the most uncomfortable thing I have ever had to use but I needed to do some work in the evenings so I did the best I could. I think they bought them to fit the decor but they were completely impractical for doing work. I felt safe in this location, the staff were for the most part polite and professional, after I asked about water they let me know it was free (the remaining items in the store were predictably WAY overpriced). It is close enough to walk to and from the old market area.

This is a top hotel for the Omaha market. This boutique property is part of the Curio Hilton family so you are assured a quality stay even prior to check-in. When we checked in, we loved the quaint lobby. I was upgraded to a king deluxe room. The room was gorgeous with vibrant views of downtown Omaha. We ate dinner at the hotel and had an enjoyable and relaxing evening enjoying each other's company. The steak frites was a stand out. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathrooms were divine. I could have camped out in the room for an extended period of time. I will definitely book again when I want a staycation! Definitely give the Peregrine a try!

Service was amazing except during the late night. The front desk guys were more concerned about watching videos on their phones. Rooms are very nice and big but there was no mini-fridge and the TV was hard to figure out. Most channels were missing. Over all a good hotel just make sure your room has everything working in it.

This may have been one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. Started with check in and parking. There is one spot out front for you to drop your bags and check in. It is not monitored and cars were parked there for at least the first two hours of our visit. We had to park next door and ended up paying for parking just to check in. We were then given terrible instructions on where the hotel parking was as there are no signs on the street to let you know where to park. We then had to bring suit cases across the road to get back to hotel. The tv was not working and I was told maintenance would look at it but it was not fixed and there was never any follow up(I have seen from other reviews this is an issue). We had to leave the hotel to watch the game we wanted to watch. Game was on a basic cable channel TBS. From what I could tell only local channels worked. Now the kicker. There was no hot water to shower. We let it run for 30 min and it was still boarder line tolerable at best. Add in no water pressure and you have the worst hotel shower experience I have had. . Only two towels stocked in bathroom and no extra pillows. If I was staying more than one night I would be checking out as I could not stay more then one night. I would stay at one of the many other hotels in the area instead of risking it with this hotel.
