The Peak Church - United Methodist church in Apex - 1200 N Salem St, USA

of COURSE I will rate this church as EXCELLENT! I play in the praise band!! :) The Peak UMC is a great mix of large church (lots of programming and amenities) but small church where people know you, and you feel welcome. It's contemporary worship and Kyle is an excellent communicator; witty and funny, spiritual and intelligent. I hear from members all the time how wonderful the music is, i have to agree, but i am quite biased since I'm a drummer in the band! If you're new to the area and looking for a church, or if you're just not feeling that your current church is the place for you, come and try us out! We'd love to have you!

Everyone, and I mean everyone is welcome at The Peak. Pastors Kyle and Katie give messages in the true spirit of love and our Children's ministry is fantastic.

I am thankful to have found The Peak church and its loving and welcoming community. I appreciate the emphasis that we all have questions and the community openly engages in great discussions on those questions. The Peak community also puts words into actions helping both our local community and international areas through partnerships with other organizations like Help One Now. The Peak's sermon series are supported by small group discussion questions and often activities to engage people in taking action on the message. Finally, The Peak openly recognizes that we are all unique and imperfect, and I've never been part of a community where I've felt more comfortable and empowered to celebrate our differences and share my imperfections. The Peak is a place where I am comfortable being vulnerable because whatever I share is met with love, empathy, kindness, and support. I truly feel at home at The Peak even though I've only been there for a couple years. The people I have met there are folks who I enjoy having in my life and who each have a unique, positive influence on me as a person.

The Peak has been our church home for the last 9 years and it has meant a great deal to our family. We have always felt so loved, welcomed and accepted by everyone and have created a close community of lifelong friendships there. The sermons are powerful, the worship music is amazing & the children’s ministry is full of awesome and loving volunteers!

If you are searching for a church and haven’t quite found the right one yet, I cannot recommend The Peak enough! This church and its people are dedicated to showing everyone love and acceptance just as Jesus did, no matter who you are or where you come from. My wife and I found The Peak in March ‘22 and joined officially as members a couple months ago. We could not have imagined a more welcoming community than this for our family! Services and messages are always applicable to our day to day lives, the music is impeccable, and the church is dedicated to making an impact both here in Apex/Cary/Raleigh as well as abroad. So if you’re feeling like you haven’t quite landed in the right spot on your spiritual journey yet, come to The Peak one Sunday and see for yourself.

My wife and I have been members of the Peak since August 2022. We are grateful for a church with such a great mission: "To gather those who feel disconnected to encounter a compassionate God so that we can grow in faith and transform our communities." This is a place where you are accepted, your questions and doubts are welcome, and the gifts that you have for ministry can be fully employed to increase the love of God and love of neighbor in our world today. I believe this is what Jesus intended his church to be!

We have tried many churches in area and when we found The Peak, we found what we were looking for. The Peak fully met our criteria - an engaged friendly welcoming community, moving music by talented musicians, and inspiring relatable sermons that make your think and consider. This place is that and more. My husband and I volunteer to teach Sunday school and our young kiddos enjoy coming to church, making friends and learning life lessons. This is a God loving (not God fearing) church where all are welcome!

The Peak Church has been the perfect spot for myself, my husband, and our three boys. Of course there is no such thing as a perfect church, but for us this has been a great combination of valuable teaching, great children’s ministry, and music that leaves us filled up. Uncertainty and questions are answered with grace and love. No one claims to know all the answers, but welcomes everyone and anyone at the place where they are. I love this about our church. My kids ages 3, 5, and 6 all love Sunday mornings as well, and we feel great about having a local church that knows and loves our family.
